There were some very different meals than you find in other DC restaurants. The bisque soup was outstanding. The portions were large enough that you could split and be quite happy. We were told shrimp and grits were very good (we did not have them...More

Me and my girlfriend went here for brunch one morning. It was unlike other brunch places because it offered a full meal which you would take to go as well as the buffet. There was no cheaper option if you just wanted the buffet which...More

Sunday jazz buffet was enjoyable. Select from a huge selection of options. Great steamed shrimp, breakfast and lunch items. Then head to the desserts. Finally when you are done, they pack a separate take home bag of some other great choices.

This was my first time visiting. I had the fried chicken, collard greens and mashed potatoes. The chicken was just ok. The collard greens needed some seasoning. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. I wouldn't call it soul food.

If you want a quiet, intimate setting, this isn't quite the place. It's a little tight, like sitting right next to people at the other table. The meals come in huge portions. I loved my pork chops and my husband's fried chicken was the best...More

The fried green tomatoes are a good choice as well as the she crab soup as starters. Prices are fair, portions are good and service was very attentive. A solid choice for the native or out of towner.

Churchill is about 5 minutes away by cab. They have valet service which starts at 5:30 pm. Also there are plenty of metered parking spaces in the area that are good for several hours.
