There's nothing to see. Just a pretty gate. No culture or sights here - oh except the homeless people who litter the streets on every corner / big disappointment - we ended up eating in an Irish pub in China town / that was very average too!

The majority of people on the street looks like they are homeless which is sad to see. The arch going into China town was lovely however that is all that was good about it. We stopped to have a bite to eat and was very disappointed with the "meal " The meal had been microwaved and the service very poor.... More

It is a very different neighborhood than what u would see in all DC. It is nice to see and to walk through not in a car only. I advise it at night. The chinese restaurants there are good and tasty as they serve a typical Chinese cuisine

I expected a bigger Chinatown in Washington DC – I guess because it's a large city. There was about one block to Chinatown. Not much to see. Dilapidated buildings. I would not walk through it. Driving through it takes about a minute. If the GPS happens to take me through Chinatown, fine. Otherwise I would not make my way into... More

While on my way to Maryland,I thought I'd stop by. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but, It's definitely worth a visit if your'e in the area. Streets are very clean and there are plenty of places to enjoy a nice meal.

Even on a rainy day this is a fun place to at least walk through. My granddaughter wanted to see it and she had fun with all the business of the area. Glad we took the time to stop and site see.

My teenagers wanted to see China Town. It seemed to be almost only restaurants there. Also, the neighbourhood was not the most inviting. Got a little scared by some homeless, so did not stay there for long. Maybe on a warm and sunny day we would have a better experience, but it was not worth the visit.

Nice area but all the restaurants look tired and not very nice at all, they all look grubby, we did eat in a restaurant called China garden, plate swimming in grease ... Yuk

There's not much to do there. We were hoping for local shopping and local restaurants. We found a run down area that was a little scary to walk through. We saw just a few local shops....but a lot of chain stores/restaurants.

This is a small neighborhood carryout with a couple of tables inside if you want to eat in. All the expected chinese favorites....I almost always get shrimp fried rice with 4 chicken wings and mumbo sauce.....yum!! Perhaps not your gourmet chinese experience, but reliably good tasting food at reasonable prices so they get my business nearly every week!
