Fantastic lunch! For starters, my husband & I split the Brussel Sprout salad. They were nice enough to put it in 2 bowels, so he could have the onions and I could skip them. The lemon vinaigrette was really good! It had a nice lemony...More

We booked from the UK on a recommendation and were not disappointed. My daughter is vegan and I emailed about her options; as a carnivore I was in heaven! Very nice area too with plenty of small shops to wander around. Overall a good experience.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch. They had great food. The design of the restaurant was great especially where we were seated upstairs. I guess you could call it the sun room. The only problem I had was the waitress wasn't attentive to all...More

Dropped in for lunch without a reservation and had no problem getting a booth for 4. The menu was very varied. I had a BLT and it was delicious, lots of bacon and probably the best tomatoes I have ever had in a restaurant.

We ate dinner there on a Friday night. We had made a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and very responsive. Everything we ordered was very good! Nice atmosphere.

Great meal. Our server was very friendly. There were light options on the menu and the atmosphere was buzzing inside. House rosé was very good and not too expensive.

We recently dined at Clyde's with our son who recently moved to Georgetown. The ownership of Clyde's bought and saved the venerable Old Ebbits Grill by the Whitehouse. The ambiance at Clyde's is clubby in the best sence of the word. Lovely decor yet comfortable...More

Hi Andrew, I can't recall whether it was on the menu but they are so accommodating I'd ring in advance and ask them the question. Love the atmosphere and level of service. Have a great time :)

Description
Opened in 1963, Clyde's of Georgetown qualifies as an institution. This animated tavern in the heart of Washington's most famous neighborhood popularized saloon food and practically invented Sunday brunch. More than 50 years later, Clyde's continues the tradition, serving classic American cuisine to Georgetown locals and famous faces while passers-by stop in and mingle at the long oak bar. The re-designed interior is an open invitation to the restaurant's life and times with its many travel posters, paintings, and bronze statues. Clyde's of Georgetown remains a Washington classic.
