You must be a member or guest of a member to dine here, but the food is exquisite and the service distinguished. I dine here each time I am downtown and highly recommend it!

We had a large group go to the Club for Thanksgiving. It was a delightful experience. We ate in the Pershing Room and were there for 4 hours, yes, 4 hours, talking, eating, laughing and just having a good time. No one ever acted like they wanted us to hurry and leave. The waitstaff was great, they always kept our... More

We came to brunch yesterday with a large group. As usual we enjoyed the food and service immensely! The buffet is extensive. I particularly enjoyed the customized omelets and the roast beef cut to your particular taste. There were several choices for dessert. Only negative-I felt that the carrot cake was not as top notch as usual. The ambience is... More

This is a private club with dining limited to members & their guests. However, unlike a number of private club that seem to have "institutionalized" food, the quality of the food served at the ANC is excellent, and the service is formal & professional. Jacket & tie is required in the dining room as a bow to tradition and the... More

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms need updating though. The bathrooms have poor lighting and look like they were last updated in the the 1980's. The staff is very nice and the restaurant, bar and lobby are beautiful.

Sitting regally on Farragut Square in the heart of downtown Washington, the Army and Navy Club has a storied history and a place for the military elite to call their own. These days, it isn't just the military who belong here, but the club retains a strong, straightforward feeling of grandeur. While the neighborhood has changed over the past century... More

This facility is for members only, but it is one of the finest places to dine in Washington DC. It occupies a historical building and has an impressive dining room that has been remodeled recently. Breakfast is superb, it is convenient for lunch and very nice for dinner. Closed on weekends.

Needed to dig out a jacket in order to be served but it was well worth it. The service, food and atmosphere were unbeatable. The prices were not for the faint of heart but this is the DC area and nothing is budget oriented. Most of those that were here were either on per-diem orders or high ranking retirees. Wish... More
