Wonderful cafe atmosphere in the heart of Washington DC, a short walk to the White House. Large selection of dinner and desert crepes and coffees. Fruit (we had blackberry) was fresh, not frozen. Ample seating indoors and a few tables outside for that extra city feel if desired. Cappuccino was better than many Starbucks we've visited in the US. Prices... More

We came with the family for a quick snack and ordered a cappuccino with some pastries. The bear claw was great, which led to me to purchase another one. The coffee was also delicious. If I'm back in the DC area again, I will be returning here as well.

Stopped by for brunch crepes. Really nice, long selection menu of both savory and sweet crepes. My wife had the banana and it was filled to overflowing. But for me it wasn't great, wasn't bad. Just OK. Didn't help that the crepe was cold at first bite. And 20 bucks for 2 crepes 2 coffees -- for the quality received... More

This creperie offers good Italian coffee with a wide variety of crepes. Our savory crepes, which we got for breakfast, were okay. The crepes were rubbery and the fillings were not very flavorful. Maybe next time we would try the sweet crepes.

It was later than the D.C. crowd normally dines, but we wanted Crepes for a simple dinner. The service was okay, nothing special. The food was okay, nothing special. Some of the selections were excellent, others just so-so, so the overall rating is average. We tried the Plain, Feta, Cheese-Ham, Cheese-Ham-Mushroom-Egg selections, and the tradition cheese-ham was the best. The... More

Not quite what I expected. This is a small sit down crepery with maybe 15 tables. Tons of choices, and everything is fresh and yummy. I ordered strawberry and banana and it is cut up fresh fruit. With delish whipped, cream.

I was in love with the idea of this place before even stepping foot in the door. I love crêpes so a crêperie seemed like a no brained to me. And it was definitely a good idea! Our table went both sweet and savory ordering the Apple and Brown Sugar Cinnamon, the Ham, egg, and Cheese with bell peppers, and... More

Coffee was pretty decent. I wish I could give a more thorough review, but all we had was coffee. Looked promising, though.

My husband and I were hungry so we stopped in to Point Chaud. The fact they served crepes had us excited to give them a try. We walked in and the place was completely empty. There was no greeting or welcome by the staff so we didn't know if we had to wait to be seated and find a table... More
