St Arnold's is a great place to have in the neighborhood. Weekday happy hour pricing for $11 mussels and $5 beer is a super good deal. Not to mention the pleasant and charming dining room and ambience. Now that it's warm the rectangular dining room/bar has all the windows removed on one side, giving the feel of an open and... More

This is becoming my go to place for fresh and well prepared mussels in Washington DC. On my highly recommended list!

We visit as a family. Service was very slow. Food was overpriced and mediocre by taste. Will not going to return. There are better choices out there.

This place is in the basement of an old building. Cute and charming, but a little dark. Good mussels. Go here for the ale and mussels, they are the main attraction.

This place is one of the best mussel bars i've ever been. They have extensive menu for mussels which is good, so far i've tried 6 of them and all are fantastic. The manager, Annette is friendly and so is the waitress (she's Ethiopian). If you come here between 5pm-7pm it's 1/2 price for mussels & fries and you can't... More

Want a nice place in Cleveland Park for happy hour, go to St. Arnold's Mussel Bar on Connecticut Avenue. It is located very close to the Metro and with many buses lines. The restaurant looks just like another small addition of the building, do not let that fool you. Inside the bar and dining area is nice with plenty of... More

Best mussels paella and chicken wings, delicious grapefruit beer (light drinking) and good service. Go during happy hour when the mussels menu is at its best price. Will keep visiting this place!!

The mussels here are amazing, as are the fries cooked in duck fat. There'a a great happy hour, with outdoor dining when it's nice outside. A superb place for a light meal and a glass of beer or wine.

Three of us. Each got a different serving (Arnold's Special, Pesto, Bleu Cheese). Just great! The sauce is the thing, of course. Served with exceptionally good fries and bread for "sopping up" (could have used more bread but didn't ask). Two of us had a "grapefruit beer". Beer snob here did not, sticking to a lovely dark lager, but tasted... More

We started off with onion rings and a meat/cheese platter. I gotta say, I've only seen a few times where the onion rings were cooked to a delicate yet crispy perfection that the onion broke along with the batter at the same time. In other words, you weren't pulling the onion out of the rest of the batter when all... More
