I just came from a business lunch with our agency's partners and I am laughing that half of us did not eat our lunch! I ordered the pumpkin grilled cheese sandwich and I could not go beyond the second bite. The thing was so salty, it was beyond edible. My associate had the brussels sprouts and she had no better... We chose Lincoln because it was close to our hotel. It was a lovely surprise. Great comfort food, tapas style. We had the Parker Rolls with Gingerbread butter (freaking amazing), gorgeous braised brussel sprouts with green grapes, the mac and cheese, and a host of other shareables. All were notably good. The brie rolls were good but not as good... More

I'm sure WE all agree that a good dining experience does not solely rest or hinge on the quality of the food, but also the quality of the service and the ambience. Well, my experience at Lincoln restaurant in Washington DC was one that I wouldn't write home about. We went to Lincoln for the Thanksgiving dinner. We arrived too... More

Prior to coming here for dinner the evening before Thanksgiving, we had eaten lunch here before. The lunch meals were wonderful. So we thought a great dinner awaited us. Unfortunately, the dinner was a massive disappointment. We had the "Chef's Seasonal Tasting," and it was hyper mediocre. Further, while polite, the wait staff was 100% clueless about the various chef... More

Came here with friends for happy hour, sat at the bar and to get service was beyond annoying. The drinks aren't that great.

Emancipation room was nice for our party. Drinks and food were great (maybe a bit pricey, but it IS DC). Loved the pennies on the floor! Everyone thought the dinner party was a smash.

Great little tappa style place. We had the duck bolognese, chicken pot pie, deviled eggs, mac and cheese and parker house rolls. Everything was WONDERFUL. The only real surprise was how few eggs. Was expected 3-4 deviled eggs and the serving is 2. I could bathe in the mac and cheese. The chunks of chicken in the pot pie was... More

The menu changes with the seasons and offers excellent variety and fresh ingredients. Tables are pretty close together with minimal privacy but the food makes it worthwhile.

Restaurants tend seek a certain crowd. At brunch, Lincoln is seeking a younger cohort. There's lively music curated by a DJ, and the vibe is festive. It's not a docile tea-time kind of brunch. The food was good, particularly the chicken pot pie. We also liked, and shared, the chocolate-chile soufflé. Don't bother with the Bellinis or the Mimosas -... More

Nice American tapas bar. Not quite, but the dishes are superb and the service is excellent. The fig-prosciutto-marscopone-honey-bacon crumb appetizer went will with the mussels. The Kobe beef-mushroom-new potato dish was a great completion to the main course. Get 2-3 plates per person, but save room for dessert. They have some great ones. We had the chocolate butter fudge cake.... More

Description
From the spirit of freedom in artistic creation, liberation from culinary mediocrity, and emancipation from the ordinary, LINCOLN is an expression of artistic collaborations in gastronomy, mixology and design. Savor our seasonal American small plate menu crafted from fresh ingredients supplied by local & regional farms. LINCOLN pays tribute to one of our greatest US Presidents, with nods to many of his favorite foods including oysters, gingerbread and chicken pot pie. If you’re thirsty for cocktails that are truly one-of-a-kind, our barkeeps, have created one of the city’s freshest bar programs highlighted by mason jars featuring infused bourbons and DC's first moonshine-list served in antique-style copper cups. In warm weather months enjoy our patio offering panoramic views of DC’s urban landscape. Original paintings and a distinctive interior design by homegrown pop artist, Maggie O’Neill make LINCOLN a feast for the senses at Lunch, happy hour, dinner or after dark.
