This is a must try steakhouse. The interior is classic American, dark wood and leather chairs. I had a ribeye steak served medium rare. The place was full so order your table in due time.

I've tried many good steaks in my life so I can say with confidence that Capital Grill know what they are doing. The filet mignon was fantastic. Cheesecake was also delicious and staff very friendly

While Capital Grille is expensive, the experience is superb. The setting is nice, with a club-like feel, and the service is excellent. Drinks are strong, the wine list is long, and the food is excellent. I had a special stone crab appetizer and the bone-in-filet. Both were incredible.

This restaurant strikes you as the DC place to "do lunch". My wife and I had dinner here and the meal was great, typical USA sizing though. Nice atmosphere and the servers were good. I saw another review with the similar comments as what i am about to say, you will wait awhile for your appetisers , the entree following... More

Traditional steak house with superb service and excellent food. Great for business lunch or dinner, and works just as well for a special evening out. Great venue for those seeking an elegant yet understated setting. Never disappointed.

Shared the ribeye sandwich and the burger. Both were very tasty... slightly overpriced but directly downtown in the heart of the city so we can expect that.

The king crab leg from Alaska was truly one of the best, they were large, chunky and succulent. I had the bouillabaisse that was quite standard. My colleagues had a 62-oz aged Tomahawk rib eye which was cooked to perfection. The waiter Tony was knowledgable and helpful. The portion was large, good enough for 5 people. This was a beautiful... While I was touring Newseum, my rumbling tummy demanded lunch. I popped out of the museum and crossed the street to The Capital Grille. The man next to me at the bar ordered a sparkling water, a salad, and some seared tuna. I blithely chose a giant cheeseburger with truffle Parmesan fries and a Coke. I ate every bite with... More

We had a lovely last evening in DC at the Capital Grille. Our family enjoyed the meal and the service was impeccable, led by our waiter Akim. Would highly recommend.

I had a mango salad with grilled salmon. Some of the mango was hard which happens but it was also tasteless. Neither the dressing or the salmon had much flavour either. Not what I expected from such a well rated restaurant. My husband had a lobster sandwich in which the bun was over flowing. His was quite good. The Creme... More
