Met up with another family while visiting D.C. with my family. Restaurant was perfect for our group of 8. All food arrived quickly, waitress was accommodating to our various requests and food was scrumptious! We would definitely visit again when in town.

We had no reservations and the bar tender was able to get us a table. Service and food was outstanding. Definitely will come back.

Came here for a Sunday Happy Hour. Food was a great price, drinks were great, and the service was excellent. We got seven appetizers for $35. Food was amazing and the caipirinhas were made with cachaca vice rum... delish!

Third time to eat here and while I love the decor and atmosphere, I find the food fairly bland and mediocre.

Went with my husband at 9:30 on a Friday night. Got a table quickly. had chicken empanadas which were DELICIOUS, and the vaca Frita (grilled steak w onion and garlic - YUM!) also had a mango margarita but it was just ok. The front of the restaurant turns into a club at 11 so after dinner, we danced salsa y... More

It was as if you were in Disney: prefab stucco galore, fake plants everywhere, mish-mash of a street scene gone wrong. Supposed to be quaint, I get what they were trying to achieve, instead was an experiment gone wrong. Aside for the music and the passion fruit mojito (both good) I'd skip everything else. The tuna ceviche came in a... More

The el Cubano sandwich was ok, but not great. The rice and bean side dish was pretty good, but the fries were awful. The real nail in the coffin though was the service. Seriously some of the worst in DC. Sat for more than 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Super slow service in every respect despite the lack of... More

We had a great lunch here after celebrating my daughter's graduation from American University with her Masters. Great food, service, and the deserts were great. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we've been back a few times since that event. Always a great experience.

I clearly ordered the wrong thing at Cuba Libre. I ordered a vegetable paella, and it was very greasy. Those who ordered pork had favorable meals, but I was disappointed. I also ordered the black bean soup, and it was flat and not particularly interesting. The pineapple guacamole cubano was tasty, and the Plantain chips with a trio of dips... More

Very nice place, good food, reasonable prices, great DJ. It will turn into a Salsa night after a certain time.
