Our bartender was Justin and the drinks he prepared as well as his customer service was phenomenal. My drink of choice is always a Margarita and it was made perfectly. Additionally, Justin was very attentive to everyone at the bar while working. I can appreciate...More

Great place to have brunch with friends or for a date. I absolutely, positively, without a doubt LOVED the brunch. I ate the bottomless brunch for $35 per person which is set up in a small plate fashion. I ate way too much but I...More

Thought the dishes were a bit pricey, especially the vegetable dishes. The calamari was very nice but could of done with less salt. Ordered the lamb chops with and extra chop. The 3rd one was very fatty and very little meat, the lamb itself wasn't...More

Went for a date night and this restaurant hit the mark! Ambiance was fun and romantic, but also full of energy and excitement! Traditional Greek food served by a staff that really knows what service is!!! Many delicious items in the menu but order the...More

Nothing here resembles authentic Greek food so if that’s what you’re hankering for his is not the place for you! It is however a fun atmospheric place to spend an evening and the food was ok but not brilliant. It’s also not cheap at $15...More

Being of middle aged persuasion, I have evolved to appreciate pronounced flavor over quantity. Not completely given over to the French style of "less is more", the tapas style of menu design I find considerably more compelling when the food is good. At Cava, they...More

Saturday and Sunday they have a great deal on their brunch. You can order off of an extensive menu of "breakfast tapas" with a Greek theme (spicy lamb benedict was amazing). It's $35 for the Bottomless brunch, then $0.25 mimosas. My friend and I tallied...More

Stopped by on a Friday night and were able to get a set on the upstairs patio without waiting. We didn't have a view, but we love eating outside so it still worked for us. The service was very good. We ordered 5 small plates...More

Hi, I am so sorry for the delay - we were finally granted access to this location. We do have a rooftop and front patio, but unfortunately no real scenic view. We are on a very old beautiful street however :)

We had reservations but had a party of 6. But it seemed smaller parties were just walking in and being seated. It is small so never hurts to make reservations.

Your neighborhood Mediterranean hangout, dedicated to shared plates and culinary excellence. Find us in Rockville, DC, Clarendon, Baltimore, and Olney. Established in 2006. In the summer of 2006, long-time friends Ike Grigoropolous, Ted Xenohristos, and chef Dimitri Moshovitis came up with the idea for Cava Mezze over coffee. As three children of Greek immigrants, and life-long Rockville residents, they aimed to bring mezze-style dining of from their parents' home to their home. Despite opening their first Cava Mezze in a once desolate shopping center, the restaurant thrives as a neighborhood hangout. From hand-building tables, to smashing tiles, each founder and their family poured every ounce of their effort into making their first restaurant a success.
