Had the tasting menu, and it was great! Wonderful wine list with "hidden gems" that have some good deals for great wines. Service was impeccable. Costs high but not inappropriate for the food, setting and service. Great for a special occasion.

We loved our dinner at Plume. We did the Prix Fixe menu and loved our selection, but the amuse bouche and the bread added someone special. For appetizers we had scallops and risotto, both perfectly prepared. I got the lobster for dinner and my husband...More

Generous serving for this one Michelin starred restaurant and excellent service from the staff. My observation is that if you want to impress your date and want to play it safe, this is the place to be.

If you've been for lunch you have not been for dinner. The room is transformed as if set-dressers came in and created a romantic fantasy. Quiet, romantic, if it were up to me we would go at least once a week

As the recipient of one star from the prestigious Michelin Guide and the only Forbes five star rated restaurant in Washington, DC, Plume at The Jefferson hotel serves as a discreet and elegant backdrop to the artistry of our award-winning culinary team. Choose a cozy nook or a table by our inviting fireplace as you savor classic dishes crafted using traditional techniques and seasonal fine dining restaurant menus that are inspired by the harvest from Thomas Jefferson's kitchen gardens at Monticello. Plume's wine list spans more than a dozen nationalities and consists of over 1,300 labels, including the country's largest Madeira collection, currently offering one of last bottles of 1720 Madeira in the world. The wine selection consists of over 50 vintages, many of which we believe Jefferson would have enjoyed were he alive today, including a range of labels from his native Virginia.
