Crowded and bustling Sichuan-style Chinese restaurant in the heart of DC. Excellent food, fresh ingredients, moderately priced, very fast service. I have been here many times, and it is consistently very good. Avoid the peak lunch hour, as this place gets crowded

We were here with our Chinese colleagues for dinner. The food is delicious here, the service is fast and attentive staff. The food could be a bit spicy and salty for someone who is not used to food like this. It is always great to pair is with rice to minimize the spiciness. I completely enjoyed my meal here. I... I went with two friends. We ordered appertizer of spicy beef which was spicy and tasty. That was followed by water cooked fish, eggplant and lamb stew. The fish was spicy and oily. Eggplant was average. The stew lamb was good. The food was on the whole the oily and salty. Good to eat with a bowl of rice.

Sichuan had so so reviews but we figured it would be fine because Chinese food seems to always be good. They did give us decent fried tofu, but the General Tso flavor was a bit lacking in it as well in our other dishes. We also had fried rice, Lo Mien and tea to drink, all quite bland, no spice... Restaurant was inviting staff was friendly. Good quality taste I usually ask for spicy but had a feeling this was authentic. My beef with hot peppers was spot on and very tasty great sauce. Just hot enough we're almost halfway through you start slightly sweating and your nose runs a bit. Served with a small bowl of rice. Take a... More

This is not what I expect when ordering Szechuan food. Four of us (three vegetarians and an omnivore) ate dinner here. We were seated promptly. Appreciated a large pot of tea on a very cold evening, but alas I could not detect any taste of tea; it was not much more than hot water. Despite an extensive menu, there was... More

Lunch today was outstanding. It was a holiday celebration among 15 working associates who are also good friends. And, we did it at the very best Sichuan Restaurant in the Washington, DC area. The food is the most important part of the experience, and we had plenty of it. We started with a Cold Tendon and Tripe Appetizer. This was... More
