We were taken here by our cruise and were pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely location in a lovely town. It was a nice walk to get there and it is quite a town. There was very nice cuban music played by a group of local musicians. We were first treated to very delicious fried plantain chips and then by... More

This was a nice place to stop for lunch in the shade. The food and service were acceptable, if unexceptional, but they were playing some rather loud rap music which we could have done without.

Very stylish and decorative restaurant in Trinidad. The food and service are very good. But what I liked most is mainly the class of the restaurant and the beautiful table cover, something you rarely see in Cuba.

After dinner, we went walking around town and came across La Nueva Era. There were people standing outside, across the street, listening to the music. We could see the band that was playing. Their music was both energetic and entertaining. I can't comment on the food or drink as we did not dine at La Nueva Era. If you are... More

We popped into La Nueva Era for a rest and pick me up just before midday, the owner kindly turned on and repositioned the fans to help us cool down, we were the only people there. Then the band sidled over to us .... I'm not a lover of musicians in such close proximity .... but these guys were fantastic!

Good service, waitress very friendly. We had a good meal the first day and went back the 2nd evening. More tasty meat and fish than other restaurants we have been in cuba. Live music completed the good atmosphere in this nice decorated place. Just around the corner of the plaza/stairs.

This restaurant looks like a classic tourist trap, but actually serves pretty good food. Prices are average and service was good.

We went for dinner and were seated in an outside courtyard. That was pleasant until we noticed a live crocodile caged near us. It was not so much that it was near us, but the fact that it was a small cage and there was no water of food in the cage. We should have been warned by the dead... More

You will no doubt struggle to find decent food in Trinidad- this is one of the restaurants that wont offer you decent food- so save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere! Tough pork, no real flavour with bland veggies...
