Its a tourist place. You go for the location and to have seafood at the harbour. Had the grilled spanish mackerel, bit dry but good size, daughter 1 had fish and chips which was a good size, daughter 2 and wife had the squid rings...which was the nicest of the dishes. All up expensive ,$140 for 3 main dishes and 1 entree, but the servings were generous.More

Great location though the food was basic. My Mackarel was dry and was small with a huge pile of chips. Oysters were great.others meals were big though just average fish and chips. Others who had the mussels said they were great...

Have not been for a while. From memory it was OK but expensive, so went online to look at menu prices. But!! no prices on the menu. This is off putting as you have no idea what you might be up for!

We got a table by the water. Food was lovely. I had the salmon and it was nicely cooked. Everyone at the table was pleased with their food. Wine is well priced. Service was very good, thanks Mitch!

A lunch out as the restrictions post COVID-19 eased. The staff were friendly, but the service was average despite it not being peak period. My partner had fish and chips entree size which was huge. Unfortunately the fish was overly battered. I had the stuffed...prawns which were nice but again too much stuffing. Overall the food was designed to fill rather than for taste.More

We decided to travel to Fremantle for a fish and chip lunch on the Monday public holiday. The other fish places were a zoo so we selected Joe's Fish Shack and I ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. What a mistake. The mackerel was dry and...overcooked, the calamari was rubbery and the chips cold and stale. Terrible and left me grumpy for the rest of the day.More

We went there for Sunday lunch, was seated near the windows and had a lovely view. Ordered the grilled seafood platter for one and the fried seafood platter for one. Serving size was generous and the food was delicious. Chilli mussels were just the right...heat and cooked perfectly. Stuffed prawn was amazing. The Mac n cheese prawn ball was ok, not much prawn, wouldn't miss it if it wasn't on the plate. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend coming here for a meal.More

The one we had was $35 and my husband sometimes has trouble finishing it and he is 100 kilo man! We want to order something different but end up ordering the same thing everything we go back.
