Was visiting Freo on Easter Saturday during the Fremantle Street Festival. Decided that the balcony of the Sail and Anchor would be the perfect position for viewing the buskers shows. Wasn't disappointed. Sat in the shade with a nice glass of wine and had a brilliant time.

I love this place and always pop in for a drink when I'm in Freo. The outside is amazing and I love the veranda to sit and watch the World go by. Staff change but are always friendly and helpful. Great vibe in all areas. An old fashioned feel to it.

I must say, service has improved here vastly since my previous visit with my bae, Sarah! We had a lovely bottle of prosecco to celebrate the beginning of the Easter break in Western Australia and a very pleasant experience. I might recommend that bar service could be a little quicker, however all in all, I was happy.

After we went see the Market , later we felt that we are exhausted and find this place. It is very nice. The staff is very friendly and they helped us to choose the good local beer. It is really nice and we had some snacks also from there. I can recommed this place without any doubt

We headed here with some friends as this was around the corner from our hotel in Fremantle. The in-house selection is very impressive with a wide selection of beers and cider. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the kiwi pale ale.

Work day lunch. Pleasant surroundings, great old pub in central Freo. The beer was great - brewed on site, unique and intrinsically "Fremantle". Fish and chips was tasty (however, the serve was small for the price). Service was okay, but not great. Lunch partner had pasta, which she didn't like and didn't eat. On balance, will rate the beer and... More

This bar has a great selection of beers, good food and service. Prices are standard for the area (expensive to UK tourists!). The best bar I found in WA
