$20 for a basic wrap(pretty sure the bacon was undercooked) and juice. essentially a overpriced lunchbar. save your money and go somewhere else on High St :/

Loved the coffee, quick service, but a little confusing internal layout re where to order and pay. Lovely sat outside as weather was pleasant but not much seating. It is really am takeaway.
I eat here most days, and consistently get lunch and a coffee and usually a dessert with my mother as routine, every Thursday. I arrived today, purchased a cookie and some cutlery to eat my home prepared lunch with, and sat down to wait for...my mother who would be purchasing food as well. Within a minute of sitting down I was asked to leave so that "paying customers had available tables". I pointed out that not only am I a regular eating here often, but today I had indeed purchased food, and my mother would be arriving shortly to purchase more. I was again asked to leave regardless. I replied that this was ridiculous. She then relented to letting me put my home prepared lunch in one of their bowls. As I was eating, at a table of four girls (of which three had purchased food from here), one of them was asked to stop eating because she had strawberries in Tupperware. I understand they have limited table space, but perhaps if they removed their ENORMOUS FOR SALE PLANT SECTION (??) they'd have more room for 'paying customers'. Won't be returning. Cheers for turning a loved local into a place that clearly cares more about dollars than their clientele (who are spending money there anyway??)More
Food is always yum, it's almost always busy (which is a good sign) and the staff are pretty good. The prices are probably a little bit overpriced but still cheap enough. The location is really central to all the good places in Freo (shops, markets,...beach, historical sites etc).More
first time there, confused who was serving me, , hungry and bought a yummo wrap, no price mentioned , credit card taken off me,and not seen with payment or discussion of amount... which has never ever happened before in all other places. Felt wrong really!...I looked after on my statement, $12.50, called to check correct $ apparently you get charged extra .50cents ...with credit card, I had cash why would you not offer your customer the option...discreet rip off in my opinion, wont recommend or go again! dodgy indeed to have your credit card taken without your witnessing and confirming amount!! Apparently there is a sign....Never saw it! Customer service should include extra charges and customer should be told how much your paying.. if they did I would have gone elsewhere! $12.50 for a simple wrap nah!More
Eventhough we only stopped in for coffee the food selection looked fantastic and very reasonably priced. We would go back again on our next visit to Fremantle.
The place deserves a high rating because of the food. Still, they ripped us off like true con artist overcharching our credit card with 4,50 on 20 dollars. This is how they work: they are very polite and ask you kindly what you want. They...produce good and tasty food. You then pay by card and they simply add one fruitsalad on the charge. They take your card behind the counter and swipe it. You don't get a receipt. So, you only find out later. We needed the receipt for cash purposes and that's how we found out. 'A mistake', they told me. But the fruit salad was 3,50. So we were still a dollar short. They were all looking at us like, 'we never do this'. I went online and found a few more reviews saying exactly the same. This place steals your card money. So, always ask for a receipt and check. And to the owners: stop ripping off people, it's stealing and that's a criminal offence. I reported it to the local police.More
Visited yesterday - fresh products, great prices, great selection - highly recommend ! Very accommodating with salt-free food!
Lots of home made stuff on offer: soups, burgers, toasties, etc. very friendly. Good coffee. If the weather is kind you can sit outside.
We had an excellent full English breakfast and good coffee sitting outside here on a sunny Monday in May. High Street is a charming colonial/Edwardian survival and has little traffic. Short walk from here down to the water and Fremantle's fascinating maritime museum. Friendly service.
Friendly staff provide a good coffee and plenty of choice for breakfast or lunch. Relaxing sitting at pavement tables taking in historic nearby buildings. Healthy and hi carb options in menu selections.
This is my regular "watering hole" after lectures at University of Notre Dame. There are numerous coffee places in Fremantle, but this one is hard to beat. The staff here are friendly and efficient. Have had the occasional snack here too and happy with the...food. Judging by the number of non-university students who come here for lunch, it is a good place for a sandwich, burger, etc.More
Came across this place for morning coffee, we enjoyed it so much we walked back out of the centre to have lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with information of how to get about. The food was excellent, my partner had a steak...pie chips and gravy which he really enjoyed.More
Stopped for a lunchtime sandwich and coffee. Very tasty and good service. Atmosphere good - away from the tourist trail.
On a recent trip to Fremantle, we visited the Piccolo Café for a light lunch. The coffee and lunch were very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered toasted sandwiches which were very nice and we sat in the outside street...area. There is also inside seating available. We would certainly revisit if in Fremantle again as it had a friendly casual feel with good food.More
