All the positive reviews you read about this bar/restaurant are accurate. We went on a quiet week night in early December and had our outdoor dining section to ourselves. The views were exceptional, the drinks outstanding, the food scrumptious and the staff delightful. In fact one waitress chatted with us, told us about her Hanoi, and made us feel very special and welcome.
One word of caution - while we were partially protected by glass balcony screens, the breeze could still bite. Fortunately we had anticipated this, but just be aware the temp on the 12th(?) floor is a lot cooler than at ground level.
Excellent value for money - highly recommended.

Having visited this bar at the beginning of November 2019, and enjoyed the ambiance and wonderful cuisine, we decided to go here again before we finally left Vietnam, and Hanoi especially..
Rooftop bar, with views in many directions over Hanoi..
One part is in the shape of a Grand Piano and this is where we sit to enjoy our meal again this time..
The cuisine is genuinely good..
The staff are also very caring and genuinely friendly and attentive..
They also have a good drinks selection, from.local beer to good wine..
The cocktails are nice too..
This isnt the cheapest place to eat in Hanoi, but for what you receive in find dining, ambience and quality through out your evening, ask yourself what you would pay in your own country for the same romantic evening..
We will absolutely return when we are in Hanoi again...
And one thing that my wife and myself really liked was the staff who served us before, recognised us and not only welcomed us back, but humbly thanked us for coming back..
A wonderful moment..

We have had an amazing stay here at Diamond Sky Bar! We got to see the sunset and had the best drinks!
Our server Trang was amazing, we had great conversations in English and she was very helpful giving us recommendations of where to eat in the area. She made our first night in Hanoi very special :)

We have just enjoyed a superb evening in the Diamond Sky Bar which is very high and has 360 degree panoramic views across Hanoi. It is a classy joint on the roof of the La Mejor Hotel and runs a happy hour with an attractive 40% discount between 4-7pm. Trang is the irrepressible “bar captain” who was the perfect hostess and a great ambassador for Vietnam. The best! They do a platter of finger food for 150k which was really top class. Perfect location for sunset and marvellous ambience with the city lights thereafter. A first class venue!

On our recent trip to Hanoi we visited four rooftop bars (Terraco, Twilight, The Chi and Diamond) and this one is my favourite! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The drinks came really fast after ordering and we’re delicious (the lychee frozen daiquiri is amazing). The view is also gorgeous over the lake and the old quarter!

This spot is perfect for a lovely chilled, peaceful and relaxed evening. Great views over the busy streets of Hanoi.
We were served by an extremely friendly waitress who made us feel very welcome. Trang thank for making our evening and telling us loads about Vietnam!

I'm truly grateful to Ms. Trang! I asked for a surprise since it was my partner's birthday, and he kindly agreed to help. Thanks to him, the surprise was a huge success 💝
He swiftly prepared a cake and even wrote a handwritten message in chocolate! My partner was moved to tears and so happy. I'm truly filled with gratitude. Thank you so much 😭
I'll definitely visit here again when I come to Hanoi!

We visited the bar at 6 pm. We were 7 of us and there were no other customers at that time. We ordered 7 drinks. We had to wait for 45 mins to get our drinks and that too after repeatedly asking about our drinks. The drinks we received hardly had any liquor. Overall a very bad way to spend sunset time in Hanoi. The bar tenders had no explanation to why our drinks took so much time

This place was an amazing refuge from the hustle and bustle of the old quarter, popping in for a quick bite and cocktail (the Hanoi mule was really refreshing in the humidity) while overlooking the city is something I'll cherish about our trip. Trang was extremely attentive as well, she noticed I was sweating it out and she brought over a cold towel to help (which it did!) check this place our!

I was glad that TRANG provided such good and enjoyable service, and I had a lot of fun chatting with him because he was a friend who was very interested in Korea. The food was very delicious and even though it was hot, the sky lounge had a breeze so it was comfortable and cool. The panne pasta sauce was the most delicious. I recommend it.

Great hotel bar with breathtaking views of the city from all sides. With long happy hours anyone staying in the hotel would be missing out not going up for a drink before heading out for food. Would also definitely recommend for anyone passing the bar even if you’re not staying in the hotel.

Great spot after a day on the streets, there's a BOGOF at all times if you're staying in the La Mejor hotel downstairs, if not then it's 430 - 7pm. Trang makes the place, she's very attentive, speaks great English and is always willing to have a chat and pass on info about Hanoi and Vietnam. Definitely check it out.

The staff was friendly and I especially enjoyed the dessert! I ate the chef's recommended menu, but you have to ask in advance to leave out the cilantro!! I forgot and ate the cilantro, but other than that, it was okay. If you come early in the evening, there aren't many people and I had a good meal😁

Trang served us at Diamond Sky Bar, she recommended us drinks and was very patient with us as we chose from the extensive menu. The views are lovely, allowing us to enjoy the skyline and observe the bustling streets here. We enjoyed several drinks and light meals.

We went to skybar today on a rainy day which was covered well on the roof and still able to enjoy the view. It was lovely, Trang looked after us very well and was so friendly. We had some really good cocktails. I would deffo recommend if you’re in Hanoi for a visit!
