I had lunch here with my boyfriend after a long walk in the near-by Ethnographic Open Air Museum. I was impressed by the decorations - very cosy and warm atmosphere. The service was great and the food was good. Its location is not central, but if you are in the area, it's definitely worth the visit.

Very polite, unobtrusive service, small, but delicious and good-lloking portions, very tasty picas. We were there also for a a child birthday party with pica baking - it was really fun for everyone!!

I attended a wedding reception at this ECO Logistix snack bar. Food was organic, tasty and hearty. Staff friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is close to Riga's open air ethno park and is highly recommended for a taste of Latvian food with a healthy twist. There is a patio at the back with seating. Price is very reasonable and... More

"Zaļais Maksis" is not quite a restaurant but more like pizzeria, where you can feel as cozy and nice as at home and literally spend hours there. Highway is close, but does not interfere, on the contrary, it seems that the ocean with it`s tide is around the corner. Convenient location for those who travel to Sigulda or same direction,... If you visit the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia, Zalais Maksis is a great place where to have a tasty meal or a cup of coffee or tea after the walk in a relaxed atmosphere.

The cafe is located within a five-minute walk from the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia.

Zalais Maksis specialises in serving of a variety of pizzas, but it is also possible to enjoy pastas, salads and soups there. For dessert you have to try fresh homemade ice cream or pecan cake.
