came here after reading many positive reviews online. There were not many people inside considering it was 6pm on thursday evening. those that were there were couples who seemed to be more interested in each other (and the inside of each others clothes) than the drinks they were drinking. We felt terribly uncomfortable like we had walked into an adult... More

A great place - cocktails were well made and you could get one for under £10 euros. Its all about ambiance and embracing the feel of Cuba. Great music, full with smiley people (mostly tourists - Latvians don't smile:) :) :) ) and a tasty drink in your hand - Loved it.

My friend and I were visiting Riga for the weekend and ended up at this bar on Saturday night. It is cosy and very comfortable, and staff were friendly. Later into the evening, the dance floor was extended and it was a really good atmosphere with music playing to please everyone. It certainly felt like we were in the Caribbean... More

I loved this place , it's chintzy retro and totally bohemian and cool as !! The cocktails were superb , the guy behind the bar looked like Castro himself !! We went on a Wednesday night and there was a dj cutting and scratching cool vinyl breaks . It really added to the ambience . This place looks like it... More

On a cold and snowy November night in Riga the whole city was quiet, as were many of the bars. But the warm blast as you enter Cuba is literal, as well as in the very friendly service and the cosiness of the surroundings. Salsa dances started too, which was fun to watch.

Cuba Cafe has nice interiors, just like an undergound cocktail bar should be- cosy to the point of being small. Cocktails were quite good. You can dance salsa on certain days, but when I was there, they mostly played reggaeton and the female dancers were not very good. Still a nice place to drop by for a nice mojito and... More

Cuba Cafe had a lovely atmosphere and was very authentic. Staff spoilt it as they were unfriendly. Asked for our drinks at the bar, he said the waitress will serve you so we sat down. Took ages and ended up going back to the bar to pay. Too busy chatting.

We are staying in Riga for a long weekend and have ended up at Cuba Cafe both nights. The first night there was a guy playing guitar and singing some great old classics, then a DJ took over.. The second night we got there later and it was a great DJ playing acid jazz - people were dancing and it... More

Went to the Cuba Café for “happy hour” and really enjoyed the cocktails there, particularly good mojitos. Fascinating, quirky interior and a relaxing place to have a few drinks.
