The restaurant was packed but we had a reservation. The waiter played a part as a medieval waiter. There was enough choises in the menu to satisfy the hungriest. Not cheap but reasanably priced. Our main course was delayed so the waiter brought us schnapps as a compensation,

We stumbled into this place looking for somewhere warm to have a drink and although you can't see much as it is only lit by candles, the atmosphere was fun and they like to keep to the 'ye olde' theme from the waiter to the decor. We had lovely honey beer served in flagons or pottery mugs, some melted cheese... More

The waiter played her part excellently. And we joined in. Good food and excellent decorations that set us back some 500 years.

Went here with a group. I was slightly disappointed, but only because I've been to similar venues that were slightly better. Food was good, but not great, plenty of it though.

It is nice place to visit. However the food was more or less disappointment. It was quite expensive, but not such a tasty.

We popped in here for a drink and really soaked up the atmosphere immediately. The local brew was explained, ordered to taste bud requirements and arrived in which can only be described and earthly pots which your grandma would have put her flowers in. Great beer and fun too.

The place is lit entirely by candlelight and the servers are in full character. When my server brought me my utensils, he said, "some weapons for you my Lord." Need I say more?

Tallinn was a new experience for us, having never been to the Baltic states. While it was very touristy, it was well done and managed to balance history and glitz. We had a great lunch in a medieval restaurant, complete with music provided by an excellent group of musicians in folk dress. The food was good and the atmosphere was... More

My husband and I had dinner here. It's supposd to be a merchant's old house and the interior is decorated in the medieval style. The wait staff are all dressed in period costumes which really add to the feel. The lady of the house greeted us at the front door and gave us 2 coins. She told us that they... More

This restaurant is in the heart of the old city, it looks spectacular in the evening when there is snow on the ground. All staff are dressed as old fashioned servants & try to create the olden days atmosphere. The menu is quite rustic offering, bear, bore etc etc I have to say I personally struggled to find something that... More

The medieval restaurant Olde Hansa is the home of a rich merchant, whose guests enjoy delicious, authentic Hansa-era meals and drinks, true period music and always friendly service. All of the dishes on the menu, including many wild game delicacies, are cooked using 15th century recipes and methods. Medieval musicians delight the guests every night of the week except Mondays. Tallinn Card holders receive a sweet treat with every meal purchased - a bag of freshly roasted almonds, on the house!
