This is a small place in the old town. The food is simple yet very tasty and good quality. Only seats around 12 people so service and ambience are great. Am planning to return before we leave to try the antipasti.

It is a simple-style place with comfy interior. Wine can be ordered by glass and the suggested selection was very much to our liking. The antipasto for two was tasty and more than enough for two. I have been there a few times for wine...More

The antipasto for 2 was good value. Super tiramisu. But wine! No wine list. The owner brings some bottles as his suggestion. He doesn't tell you the price if you don't ask. what he brought to us was bottles at 45-50 euros, which I found...More

We were passing so popped in for a quick bite whilst the rain persisted. We found out it was an Italian wine bar with so many wines (Italian of course) and grappas on the shelves. It is rather picturesque and worth a visit for that...More

Last week we visited the astounding city of Tallin. We were worn out of walking around old town and we decided to stop by Gallo Nero. It was a right choice as we loved the fresh and simple food we ate there. Antipasti and the...More

This is a must! Cheese fondue with truffle, some antipasti and a good selection of wine. The wines can be quite expensive, but the food costs next to nothing. Book a table!

We came to Tallinn late at night and started to search some place where to eat. The waiter told at the door that the kitchen is still open so we sat down and menus were handed to us. We took a bottle of wine, and...More

OMG! What horrible experience. OMG! That's pitty. Really pitty at late time we don't offer You full menu. But only cheese and ham. Oh no... What You think next time about chips? Or why not Burritos on the main square?

Not your typical dinner destination but a memorable evening indeed. We had bruschetta, antipasto and tiramisu and all three courses were delicious. A very authentic little venue with a great atmosphere. The staff and the wines are wonderful also.

Description
Originally a delishop for wines and hams that came through Raekoja plats, it was transformed into a wine bar and general store. After the 2008 flood the cellars were restored. Under an old ceiling, Swedish style, is now possible to eat in this suggestivs, 18th-century location. The furnishings, partially reconstructed with antique materials, re-create a typical wine bar atmosphere of Tuscany. Since 2006 the place has been run by the Giomi family who offer a traditional Tuscan menu, based in panini, antipasti, salads and a broad choice of wines.
