For our anniversary, I decided to surprise my wife with a truly exceptional dining experience. After some research, I settled on Platán Gourmet Restaurant renowned for its exquisite dishes and captivating atmosphere.
From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we could immediately feel that something special was in store for us. The ambiance, with its soft candlelight, fine wines, and music, created an intimate and welcoming environment. The staff was incredibly attentive and polite, which set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
The meal itself was nothing short of a revelation. Attention to details in its highest level. All the dishes were so beautifully crafted that it almost felt too good to eat. The entire experience elevated the evening to a level of perfection that left us both speechless. When we got home, my wife couldn’t stop talking about it the next day. It wasn’t just the food, but the overall experience – the ambiance, the service, the flawless execution – that made it truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. It was so perfect that I now want to make it our go-to spot for every anniversary from here on out.

It was worth travelling to Tata and staying at the Platán Udvarház - just to dine like a king. The 2 Michelin stars are definitely justified, dinner has rarely been so well-rounded and harmonious. Make sure you reserve the chef's table with wine accompaniment and treat yourself to an overnight stay! A dream! István Pesti, the gourmet chef, ensures unforgettable experiences. Also recommended as a holiday destination!

Fantastic gourmet restaurant, very delicious flavours and wonderful service.
The waiters are very professional and extremely kind and helpful.
The degustations menu by István Pesti was unique and unforgettable.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Great experience, wonderful and imaginative courses with excellent and somewhat surprising wine selection. Really lovely and professional staff. Although costly, recommended to all food enthusiasts.

Food was unbelievable. The juice pairing was fantastic. We were very satisfied. It is my favorite Michelin star restaurant.
It would be nice to have an elevator because of a lot of stairs.

It is incomprehensible why this place doesn't have a Michelin star. We had the 12 course menu. The food is delicious and one of the most beautifully presented have ever had.

High class bistro, international approach with some refurnished traditional Hungarian dishes, excellent and not obvious wine offer, you can have vegan as well (just ask!) Booking on weekends is necessary.

The tasting menu in the gourmet restaurant is out of this world. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The only comparable culinary experience we’ve had was at Hisa Franko, which now has two Michelin stars. Platán doesn’t have a star yet, but that may be just as well because it’s in a league of its own in Hungary. In addition to the top notch technique and creativity, it is the warm heart of the chef and the entire crew that really shines through and made our dinner at Platán a unique and unforgettable experience.

I have rarely eaten so well. I was surprised that only 2 stars were awarded here, because the 3-star restaurants I have visited cannot compete with this.
