Excellent!

Food was unbelievable. The juice pairing was fantastic. We were very satisfied. It is my favorite Michelin star restaurant. It would be nice to have an elevator because of a lot of stairs.

Amazing flawor combination

it was absolutely the best fine dining that my wife and I have ever had. The 12-course tasting menu was fantastic and delicious. It was an amazing combination of flavors and the wine pairing was equally vinifying

Simply fantastic

It is incomprehensible why this place doesn't have a Michelin star. We had the 12 course menu. The food is delicious and one of the most beautifully presented have ever had.

Gourmet dinner at a lovely place

Great food, friendly staff, stylish place. Recommend to everyone. Portion sizes are also reasonable, we left with full stomach.

High class bistro, international approach with some refurnished traditional Hungarian dishes, excellent and not obvious wine offer, you can have vegan as well (just ask!) Booking on weekends is necessary.More

The best in Hungary

The tasting menu in the gourmet restaurant is out of this world. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The only comparable culinary experience we’ve had was at Hisa Franko, which now has two Michelin stars. Platán doesn’t have a star yet, but that...may be just as well because it’s in a league of its own in Hungary. In addition to the top notch technique and creativity, it is the warm heart of the chef and the entire crew that really shines through and made our dinner at Platán a unique and unforgettable experience.More

Unforgettable and unique Experience

Fantastic gourmet restaurant, very delicious flavours and wonderful service. The waiters are very professional and extremely kind and helpful. The degustations menu by István Pesti was unique and unforgettable. The restaurant uses high-quality ingredients. The wonderful food-wine pairings give a real taste-Experience.

Gem in the hungarian countryside: Platán Gourmet Restaurant & Guest House at Tata.

Friendly and professional service, great ambience, flawless cooking. Very high standards, probably belongs to TOP3 restaurants in Hungary. 100% worth the trip to Tata. Best solution to stay at the Platán Guest House.More
