Gulyas soup, pőrkőlt and nokedli . Of course it goes with cucumber salad. Excellent beer selection and not to forget the Hungarian barack pálinka. The prices are more than reasonable.

They are dirty and stinky. If you are lucky they don't take care of your reservation. If you have a bad day you will enjoy the experience of a putrid catfish soup served by the most unfriendly waiter you have ever experienced. Noisy. With a terrible smell. A terrible people and terrible waiters. Make a gift to yourself. Don't take... More

We were there for dinner with our kids, the food was ok but nothing special. Based on the review in Tripadvisor, I would expect more. I can recommend an Italian restauratn next to Palffy restaurant on the main square.

Very nice and cozy traditional Hungarian Restaurant, with stone walls. We had the Goulash which was good but their specialty is the Carp which was very good. Nice attention by staff.

Ran into this gem when actually looking for another restaurant in Gyor...delicious Hungarian goulash as well as wonderful setting- (even enjoyed the "crabby" waiter- made the experience more authentic!) Wonderful meal with exceptional value. My husband still raves about this restaurant- definitely will return if ever fortunate to return to this lovely town.

Centrally located, by the river, this small cosy restaurant feels like you are in the vaults of a castle. Food local and tasty.

Me and my bf were looking to eat some good Hungarian grub and this place was recommended to us. We both had a fish soup - it was really tasty, with nice big chunks and fresh bread on the side. If you want to try a proper, well prepared Hungarian food I highly recommend this place. I will be back... More
