Comfortable casual ambience w old socialist feel. We had ham n cheese, mushroom cheese toasts which were crispy outside while bread was soft. Frothy n fragrant beverages completed the homemade-like breakfast. . Very affordable too.

Bambi is the vest choice for a break in Budapest. When we are in the city, we have to go there. The atmosphere there is indescribable! I like the coffee, wine and totally the best toast ever! Also prices are very acceptable. Really recommend this place for everybody.

This place is called now retro through the internet, but let we make it clear this is an old place. Socialist-realism more than retro, and it was used to be like this 10 years before also so its simple doesn't changed. The waitresses are amazing, they working so hard, they running around all night long, they remember all the orders... More

I occasionally drop by for a coffee and simply love being here. The waitresses are very nice, and even though I'm not a big fan of old Socialist design, it's a pleasant place to be at. Totally recommended.

Lovely interior, the waitresses are genuine, nice, fast, excellent English speakers, the coffee is delicious and usually brought in a polka dot cup (Bambi spots) the cakes are big and cheap and everything is relaxing and nice.

Do not change anything, retro is in! The atmosphere is of the 1980's but it has a cosiness which is unique. Much appreciated by the locals. Good for a beer or a simple sausage in particular.

If you want a true retro experience, with a good Fröccs, look no further. Bambi offers an authentic experience and setting. The service is swift and simple, the choice is tasty, and the terrace is large.

The location is great has a large terrace where the sun shine all day. (Difficult to find such terrace in Buda side). It has not big variety of food or drinks and the service is also not the high end, but it has a charm.

Since I live right above Bambi Presszo, I can only recommend it. :-) This place it totally retro! Nothing has been changed since its opening back in the 1960s. You can meet a variety of people there, from teenagers to older gentlemen playing chess for hours - and the place is always full! Real Budapest feeling. :-) The prices are... More
