Nice place but the barkeeps are very unpleasant. You feel like you bothering them when ordering something to drink.

As gorgeous and amazing as Budapest is, this was one of the highlights of our trip. What a fun and different experience! We ended up here both evenings, just to have a pint and relax after a long day. Definitely check it out and if you have the time grab a pint, you won't regret it!

Went in to look around and stayed for a couple of hours! A great fun place with a nice atmosphere. When we first arrived there were a few large groups of young teenagers but they soon left after they took their selfies(I suspect they were doing a kert crawl) but really everyone was well behaved. Probably changes after midnight though.

Lots of quirky decor to look at whilst having a few drinks. There are different bars inside e.g cocktail bar, wine bar so there's something for everyone to enjoy and soak up the relaxed vibe.

My siblings and I went with our dad our last night in Budapest. We arrived around 9 and got it without a weight. The glasses of wine were not overly priced. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their beverages as well. We spent about 3 hours there. We sat at the entry way, in the outside part in the back... More

Huge ruin pub with various locations in two floors. Ehen wie visites there was a dancefloor, but no one danced...THW music was gold, anyway. THW different bars sell everything from beer and craft beer over shots to Cocktails...every bar sells something different! The whole atmoaphere is relaxed and "alternative", a very interesting experience. The location is a ruin, however the... More

This place is very unique and special. A ruin pub that is hard to find anywhere else. If you like vintage style and good beer, this is a must stop for you.

We went in the evening and it was really busy and hectic. The bouncers were very rude. After they took our id cards to inspect they chatted between themselves without giving it back for a while which was weird. We got in there and could barely move, lots of pushing and shoving. The prices at each little bar were quite... More

Everyone should experience Sunday brunch here at some stage in there life! A real array of produce and buffet style meaning you really can try a little bit (or a big bit...) of everything. It's open from 9am-2pm and attracts a huge range of people: young, old, families, couples etc. 4000 forints for as much as you can eat. It... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
