Very strange place, but to try. It would be a structure that combines several places, a wide choice of food and drinks.

Even if the place is nice I don't recommend eating there, there is a lot of chaos and little place to sit, if you can find a small spot you have to keep our eyes open, we ordered two dishes to eat but they only...gave us one, we went back to the cashier to ask where the other one was, they asked us for a receipt which we had delivered to them !! We were told it wasn't true .. so we paid for two things but ate one ... never happened anywhere beforeMore

Visited here a couple of times during a four day visit to Budapest. It reminds me a little of the southeast corner of the Glastonbury festival. Yes, it’s a tourist attraction. The drinks are reasonably priced and varied. The setting is quirky and atmospheric.

If in Budapest this is a must for the experience, it’s a crazy mix of bars popular with locals and tourists alike. It’s a lively place that culminates a number of independent bars.

We came here for a drink to see what all the fuss was about. A tour guide told us this is the most famous ruin pub in Budapest but also the most touristy - he said we would only find tourists in here and he...was right. It was definitely worth a visit as it’s such an unusual place... there were several customers sitting in baths (yes bathroom baths!) and lots of cubby holes all over the place. My personal preference was that they sold cherry beer which is one of my faves - it was 1200 HUF for a large. Been there and seen it now but we would rather go places that are a bit more authentic.More

The place is stunning and very ‘Insta Friendly’, interesting and relaxing. What let’s this place down is the staff. Rude, obnoxious and will overcharge/double charge first chance they get. I would recommend a visit for photos, but go eat and drink elsewhere. Everywhere else we...have been in Budapest has been friendly with great service, shame here seems to show Hungary’s true side! Rude and out to rip you off!More

Went to this ruin bar three times during our weekend stay. It was the best ruin bar in the city by far. Twice at night when the place is alive with tourists, the cocktails and atmosphere is wonderful. However, it is very crowded we manged...to get a seat on the second night and did not give it up. On the Sunday we went for the farmers markets, was amazing to see it during the day in its full glory. Overall, great placeMore

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
