Stopped for a quick drink after a visit to the citadella to warm up. Ordered a red wine and a nice cup of English tea. The staff were rude and ignorant. The wine was thimble sized and the prices stupid. There are lots more friendly...More

Our first visit to this bar was only meant to be for a couple of drinks till our rooms were ready at the nearby Sofitel Chain Bridge but we decided to try a bite to eat, even though the barman serving our husbands seemed a...More

We visited the Bull after a long walk. The pub is tired as are the staff. We ended up the only people in the bar and service was shocking. The bar man would rather talk to the waitress than serve his only customers. Give it...More

Popped into the Sports bar for a quick drink, whilst we were walking around the city. Sorry to say that these were the most expensive drinks that we had whilst in Budapest, even more expensive that at the hotels. Staff behind the bar also kept...More

I just had a plate of fries. They were, perfectly adequate fries. I didn't come for the food, I came for the atmosphere, beer and sport telecasts from all over the world. They even showed a big Rugby League match from Australia a few days...More

The goulash was good and there was proper pub grub on the menu too. There were British beers on draught and football on tV though the signal was bad so it kept freezing. Our waiter was a real character.

Only went here because we were told they have American football. Pub is very small and staff is rather unfriendly. Food was marginal at best. Temperature inside was uncomfortably cold. Would definitely look at other options for pubs.

Stopped here on the way back from the boat tour, we just needed some normal food, its quite run down inside but quite English in an old fashioned sort of way. We ordered cottage pie and beefburger, couldn't complain about the service or cost, the...More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
