I chose this restaurant for my birthday, mainly because of the wine list. I was surprised at how good the food was to match and was not disappointed. Every wine we chose from the menu we got to sample first to check it was ok, and I ordered the most expensive glass off the menu that came to about £6!!... More

I am in Budapest for a weekend getaway between work weeks in Europe. My awesome hotel (Brody) suggested this place. No reservations taken. The waiter suggested the tenderloin salad and duck entrees. The pork is also recommended, but I did not have it. My waiter (yes, possessive due to excellent wine pairings) picked great Hungarian wines that fit each course.... More

This was our second visit here. The food is of a very good quality, but take note, this is primarily a wine restaurant. The staff are very knowledgeable about their wine, and at matching the wine with food. The wines are of an exceptional value and quality. The food menu is small and may not appeal to everyone. I think... More

Klassz is a small, stylish restaurant with great food and an exceptionally nice wine selection. It has a lively modern decor and, despite the prestigious location on Andrássy út near the Opera, feels just casual enough to make one comfortable. The food is very tasty, although desserts were a bit uneven compared to the starters and mains. The place does... More

This restaurant is a very pleasant surprise; it was an accidental discovery after a friend recommended it. I had the best krémes cake of my life, better than the famous krémes cake of the Ruszwurm pastry shop in the Buda Castle. The krémes of the Klassz is lighter, fluffier, tastier, more interestingly presented than the usual traditional version of this... More

I have visited this restaurant every time I've visited Budapest and it has never let me down. However, on this occasion, although we had a fab time, I didn't feel they were up to their usual high standard. Their Foie Gras with pair seems to have gone from the menu which is a huge disappointed. Also, only two of the... More

Very good food. Amazing winelist (all of it served by the glass! A great way to try an amazing varierty of Hungarian wines) Surprisingly reasonable given the quality & location.

We have a very nice dinner at the Klassz, excellent food, an eclectic mix of modern Hungarian and International, a good wine list. Reasonable price, dinner for two, plus a bottle of wine comes to 80 euro. Seem popular with the opera goers, just across from the Opera House.

We were yesterday after opera at 10:10pm and they said -in a very rude way- that they were closed. At their door the time to close is 23.

Tasty Hungarian dishes of proper proportion. Wines were lovely also. Well priced. In a lovely part of town just across from the opera house so would be worth coming here beforehand. Would have gone back if had time to explore the bottle shop at the back of the restaurant.
