Came across this place while looking for something sweet after lunch. Cool and quirky donut choices, the raspberry syrup drink was tasty and comes with a little donut on top! If you need a place to catch up with a bit of work away from...home to or chill during a busy day, this is it! Will hopefully return on a future visit to Budapest.More

This is still a nice place if you want one of those slightly gimmicky, very photogenic donuts. The value for price used to be much better; either way you're often paying for the look and not the taste. Which is okay, just know what to...expect. Coffee is absolutely average.More

Nice hot chocolate and donuts. However the service was poor, the girl who served us was very rude. There are many other places with just as good hot drinks and have nice staff.

This place is pretty - calm and cosy with books and a nice atmosphere. However, the Oreo donut was dry and disappointing, and the caramel one was just OK - similar to a Krispy Kreme donut. Also server was speaking loudly on her phone half...the time, and as we were the only customers it was annoying and loud.More

I’m in love with this place. Every time I’m in Budapest I go there to drink ice coffee with a donut. Donut library is such a cute place with beautiful design, marvelous donuts, tasty coffee and friendly service.

Very small and understated. If I hadn’t have read reviews online i probably would have walked on past. Thankfully I wanted to see what to see what the fuss was about and I was not disappointed. Unlike Mr Funk the donuts are a little more...understated but the taste is fabulous. Went back for a second visit as my friends wanted extra for travelling home. We tried 5 different in total and taste was great in all.More

We stopped into The Doughnut Library to recharge halfway through a day spent sightseeing in Budapest. Welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with a delicious selection of doughnuts....and books. :) Tucked on a quieter street, so a nice stop for anyone looking to take a break from...hustle and bustle of the city. We brought books and lingered for about an hour, cappuccino and latte both recommended. Not too crowded. Doughnuts creatively decorated and flavored with a texture calling to mind airy American doughnuts like Krispy Kreme. Only recommended improvements include music more conducive to reading/studying and brighter lightbulbs in the table lamps. Also note the doughnuts are delivered and not baked in house. But not a huge concern because they are still delicious! :) Within walking distance of a metro stop. We took the metro from City Park, recharged with doughnuts, then took an easy and stunning riverside walk past the Parliamemt Building, to the Shoes Memorial and into the second half of our day.More
