Good atmosphere, good service, good ingredient, fresh fish, yet the food is not exactly authentic Chinese food. Only few staff on duty so you should not be in a rush to have a meal there.

Owner from Beijing, chef is Cantonese, menu focuses on different regional cuisines with special emphasis on Cantonese dishes. Excellent food, so different from the typical " Kinai Bisztro " you see everywhere in Budapest and whose quality goes together with prices ( extremely low and poor ). This is not a cheap restaurant, but quality is high.

When there's Chinese folks eating in a Chinese restaurant in Europe you can be pretty sure it's a good one. Nefrit is authentic, great quality, huge variety of dishes from all over China and Korea and the daily specialities are a real treat. Although you have to order it in advance, the Peking Duck is the signature dish of this... More

The place is so nice, in a house with big windows, the music on the background is relaxing and not high and the service was polite and friendly. The menu is large. Finally we ate some small fried fishes, a soup, duck with vegetables on iron plate and some desserts. The dessert, personally, doesn't really liked me but everything else... More

Found this Chinese restaurant on Google maps and it turned out to be out of town. It was a 15 minute walk from the hotel Mediterran and was easy to find. The waitor served us straight away and took a drinks order and the drinks came quickly. The waitor gave us plenty of time to decide on our food order.... More

Good kichen, with a lot of choices at a perfect location in the middle of central Buda. Autentical dishes & meals by Chinese shef but be carefull as Hungarian waiters try to overcharge You if the Chinese owner is not arround. Prices in the menu are not matching the charged ones in your bill. So do no forget to xcheck... More

I have been coming back to this restaurant for almost a decade and they almost never let me down. A wide selection of dishes, incuding special delicacies such as sea cucumber, pig ears, tripe, etc. for those brave in the heart. Absolutely recommended! Waiters are fully prepared to give expert advice on the menu (which, as I hear, will soon... More

I have been several times now in this hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service at the same level. A great selection of dishes, excellent quality and fresh ingredients. It has nothing to fear from the best NYC and London peers. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

There are more Chinese regular restaurants and fast food restaurants in Budapest but you find not easy a good one. Nefrit is a very good one. I recommend it definitely.
