Reviewed yesterday NEW

There were four of us and we tried it all. Pizza, pasta with Bolognese sauce and Veau Saltimboca. All were delicious. The Hungarian rosè we had was excellent. For dessert we had the lemon gelato with vodka & prosecco (yum) and the pannacotta with chocolate. There appeared to be a little to much chocolate but my friend ate it all... More

A lovely spot for lunch or dinner. My husband and I had dinner and enjoyed 2 pasta dishes (the special and the porcini mushroom) and two delicious salads. The food was good and the service excellent. The host suggested a bottle of Hungarian Chardonnay and we were very impressed with it. We sat outside and soaked up the ambience and... More

Good food with nice service. Unfortunately a big spider was in the middle of our napkin!, fact my wife discovered when she cleaned her mouth with the napkin! These things can happen, particularly when your doors after open to the street. Still, hard to enjoy the food after this event.

We both enjoyed our meals very much, from the minestrone soup, to the pizza and pasta, and the tiramisu dessert. It is definitely a great place.

We booked just the evening before our visit and were lucky to get an early table. Fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, an excellent choice of wine. This is like dining in Italy, with emphasis on quality and service that is as attentive as it is discreet. Food that lifts the soul!

We went to this restaurant at friday, it was not so busy, well downstairs there were a some people, but upstairs it was empty, but cosy! We had a nice starter of tomato soup with basil oil and a main course of tortelloni with spinach and ricotta cheese, really tasteful, visit it for yourself.

Although we didn't have a reservation, we managed to get a table here (recommend arriving early if you don't have a reservation) and enjoyed two courses - both very good, there was a good dessert selection and a good choice of wine by the glass. The service here is also the best we experienced on our trip.

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
