It hurts me to write a terrible review to a place that seems nice with Fantastic foods! However, they jerked us with the bill, not willing to lower the service after they mistakenly ordered two cups of wine and not one. I asked to them...More

If you keep kosher and have done your research, you will know that Budapest has two meat restaurants. This, in my opinion, is the better of the two. The menu is smaller than Hanna (the other meat restaurant located about 100 meters away) but the...More

I ate here for a business meeting. Nice seating downstairs. Attentive wait staff. Good choice of main dishes. Hungarian goulash was very tasty. This is a good choice for a kosher meal.

While in Budapest last week we decided to go out one evening to eat at Carmel restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! The service was quick, the food was very tasty, well prepared and esthetically set out. If you're looking for a good, kosher meal in...More

Probably the best Kosher Restaurant in Budapest but with the high number of kosher tourists is it a true mystery why there is not one restaurant serving decent food.

When we went on Friday at noon, was not busy but still took a bit to place our order. Large portions. Chicken soup was very good and flavorful. Beef and chicken goulash portions could each feed two and were delicious. Beef was soft and tender...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

Our restaurant looks back for almost 30 years history. During this time we had a long journey. The menu and the style changed a lot with many other things as well. For 10 years already we are working as a glatt kosher restaurant. As a result of it all of our guests from all over the world from different communities could experience our kitchen. On the menu you can find the mix of tradinional hungarian and jewish tastes, and you can also choose israeli salads or other specialities as well. We hope you will have a pleasent time here! Looking forward to see you again! Enjoy your meal!
