Went there for a meal on our last night in Budapest and was pleasantly surprised. Both had grilled baby squid on a bed of garlic spinach, absolute heaven! Main course was Angus steak with grilled vegetables and roast potatoes with a sour cream dressing, all cooked to perfection. Service was very good although the wine list is quite expensive. Lots... This place was really busy so decided to try it out. Food was good, staff were friendly. This was probably the most expensive meal that we had but that was probably due to the area it is in (one of the main streets). The goulash was lovely and the brownie I would recommend

Nice place, we ordered pasta with chicken and another one with shrimps. Taste was good, source were fantastic, portions are big and all looks almost perfect. But at the same time the place is quite expensive , and there no attention to you personally, we get a feeling like we visited Macdonalds or Burger King... no wi Fi connection at... More

This place is really good located, the waiters were very nice and the food was great! We had spaghetti putanesca and some tagliatelle with gorgonzola, both delicious. The wine list is not too extense but still good.

We were there to try the traditional Hungarian cuisine and yes, they didn't fail us. The food was really amazing and it's too much for 2 persons.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
