I have been to most of the pizza and pasta restaurants in Budapest and this is truly my absolute favourite. Great food, great service, great location, especially if you are a people watcher like me.

We were at this restaurant at the evening. It was full. The pasta was great, the pizza was very good. Good service and good price. Recommended!

Very nice atmosphere, very busy, always a good sign. Staff were friendly, food was excellent, service very good. We thought the food was expensive comparing it to a similar gorgeous meal we had the following night in another restaurant in a different area. 12% service charge added on to the price of the meal. It does depend on the area... More

Ate here by chance and so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I had taglaitelle bolognese and my wife had a simple, margarita pizza. Both meals were superb and cooked as we remembered from Italy. Staff were always there if you needed them but not invasive. Would definitely recommend.

We walked into this place when we first arrived, both pasta and pizza was delicious, returned last day to eat dessert and have coffee. Waiters nice and smiling (not so common in other places un Budapest) the food arrived fast, and was delicious! Great place!

Staff were incredible. Best service we had all holiday. Great choice of wines, starters, main courses, and desserts. Will be sure to come back if we re-visit Budapest.

My friend and I had a meal here on a weekend away in Budapest. I had the fish and vegetables and she had carbonara. Both were very tasty. I loved the sauce the fish came in. Would recommend a visit if you fancy a change from goulash!

It was one of the places with Italian kitchen similar to many other cafes on Vaci street. The food is good, thought not something special. The price for two of us with two hot meals and 3 beers was around 43 euro. I noted that in Budapest, in average restaurant in city center this price range is common.

Ate here on our last night in Budapest. I ordered spaghetti carbonara (my favourite meal in the whole world!) but I was a little nervous as I have tried carbonara in many countries and it never seems to be on the same standard as ones I have tried in Italy but it was lovely. I suppose it is quite expensive... More

Our first night in Budapest and we had not booked anywhere so went to Cucina on Vaci Street which looked really nice from the outside. Service could have been slightly better, they just did not seem very happy. Ordered a garlic pizza bread to start and it was just 4 slices in a basket and they were pretty crispy and... More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
