Good hot chocolate and local foods. Nice terrace and view. Not over priced like some other places around.

Went here in the evening, in order to try a selection of Hungarian dishes between 4 of us. About 10 dishes are available including Pig Knuckle, Goose Leg, Duck Leg, Sausage and Langos. These latter are a type of soft flatbread with texture similar to a doughnut (but not sweet) which come with a variety of toppings. There is a... More

We stopped for lunch and we're happy with the choice. There isn't much seating inside but if you can sit you'll be in a cosy little conservatory overlooking a beautiful church. There is seating outside but I'd guess this is better in summer. We both had langos (Hungarian flatbread) which were a little greasy so got sickly toward the end... More

All we wanted was a beer, sandwich and a cake and that is what this small cafe with an outside terrace had. Glass conservatory with large settee's, garden heat lamps kept us very warm on a very cold day which after a full day walking was a little bit of heaven. Great choice of sarny's and lovely cakes, which made... More

Close to the Mátyás-temple, in an intimate and beautiful environment surrounded by trees, Annaróza Kávézó has opened it’s gates. In our offer you can find the whole palette of Illy coffes from the espresso through cafe latte to the ice-coffe. We recommend to the lovers of teas to taste our Dallmayr tea specialities. By favour of the hungarian, 90 years old Pataki confectionery our guests can choose from a wide range of cakes and ice-creams. They can taste the authentic Gerbeaud, and majestic Zacher cakes, the home made Cream cake or fruit and other flavoured ice-cream cups. We are also at service of our customers by every kind of Coca-Cola products. Soon the spirits of Rézangyal Pálinkaház, wines of the Divinus WineHouse and the outstanding Heineken products are going to be served as well, which can also be consumed at the spot or taken away in a bottled form. With breakfast and other menus we are waiting all day long for those, who want to refresh themselves. In case of good weather conditions our terrace can proved 40 comfortable places besides the 20 spaces inside our cafe.We hope that our offer will be favourable for you and we will often meet you in our cafe.Looking forward to meet you,The Management of Annaróza Kávézó

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
