The place design is so warm we wanted to stay there for long :) The delicious food, just made for us (we were the only late customers in the restaurant), the quite music and a lot of small pieces of decor turn this dinner to an amazing experience. Definitely worth visit. We paid ~9,000 HUF for two first dishes (try... More

We had a wonderful lunch here on a cold January day. The food was delicious, seemingly authentic and local, and service was excellent too. We had the daily lunch special, with a selection of soups and a couple of main courses to choose from. I had the plate of sausages (a trio of different ones), braised cabbage and creamed potatoes.... We visited on the recommendation of a local friend. This place is inexpensive, but the food is excellent. It is a family run business, with home cooked style Hungarian food. Delicious and good value, and friendly service..... I would go back at the first opportunity

Very nice experience if you are looking for the traditional Hungarian kitchen, not too spicy but refined taste in a traditional way. The goose leg on white paprika flavoured cabbage was just devine. All that wihh a good beer makes a perfect meal.

Földes Józsi Konyhája is my favourit place to go. It is just opposit to Lukács Spa so after having a relaxing swimming you can enjoy the traditional Hungarian tastes at Földes. It is a small restaurant wich is almost always fully booked. They offer cheap courses for lunch but you can chose from the manu as well. At unch time... More

Foldes Joszi was next to the Business School and usually one of the three main lunch choices due to convenience and location. My friends liked it because it had good lunchtime specials at a cheap price. I liked it because their grilled fish and mashed potato option was well-made and tasty. The froccs was also pretty cheap! The service was... More

We were there early friday evening. We were only customers that time. So service was quick. Food was sligtly plain, but porttinsa were big. Good value of money, and worth of walking out of turist rouds.

I am not objective: I know this place for around 15 years, when it was established by the formal Chef of the Intercontinental Hotel. I have many favourite places in Hungary- this is surely one on the top. All soups (speciality: meat soup, daily fresh vegetable-dishes (beautifully prepared), fish or chicken of pork/beef of goose-meat. I finish here, otherwise I... More

Nice place to go. The staff is very attentive and they speak english well. They have english menu and they'll gladly explain the mysteries on the menu like mangalica. The portions are big and the price is more then fair (around 10 euros per person including salad, main course and drink) and the food is really tasty. Would visit again.
