Stumbled across this cafe whilst exploring the castle and surrounding areas. I’m glad we did! A lovely little spot for lunch with a delightful outdoor seating area. A variety of dishes available including some vegan takes on the Hungarian traditional dishes, which was great. The...More

I jumped on it by chance. A really nice surprise. The food is pre cooked and you can choose what you want to eat. The pricing was good and also was the quality. I also had a raw dessert cake

I highly do not recommend. They are cheating tourists. Food was below average, but 3 times more expensive than is common in Budapest.

Being a canteen-like, self-service place, really expensive, 4000 Ft (~13 euro) for a plate of vegetables. This is so harmful to the spread of vegan thought. Kifozde szinvonalu, onkiszolgalo hely. Botranyosan magas ar (4000Ft) fizettunk egy talnyi etelert. A legbosszantobb, h a vegan gondolat terjedesenek...More

Very kind lady at the counter. Food was good for breakfast, not the chepeast, but tasty. We had a mock sausage stew with potatoes and tofu omelette. Chili sauce was basically salt though. You can take food to go in containers. Cash only.

It's not often I can persuade my meat eating boyfriend to eat veggie or vegan and this experience has set him back! Considering the canteen style service it was expensive by Budapest standards and the food was tepid and looked really unappetising. The best thing...More

The food was okay but extremely overpriced for what it was ($19 au/ $14 usd) for a plate of food that was definitely not worth the price they advertised things that weren’t even available which was disappointing would not recommend (soup tasted like phlegm)

Excellent soups, salads and a sautéed potatoes, onions and seitan main dish. Great local style in a coffee house neighborhood.
