I've been visiting this place for nearly a year now and ate myself through about 3 or more menus. Best place for a 2nd date and even better to bring your squad to gang at this place with drinking yourselves into the 14 crafted beer on tap. Sandor is highly recommended as a waiter and really helpful when you are stunned what to select as your next beer. Beni the chef is also cooking the $h!t out of every food he touches and even adds a little extra if you have any wishes.

This place is worth a visit for sure. It's really cool and welcoming inside. They'll soon be moving to a bigger premises which doesn't surprise me because the food and atmosphere is fantastic. Our waiter, Tomi was really great, went over and above all expectations and even brought out two special slices of cheesecake and a sparkler firework when he heard we were celebrating a birthday!
The food itself was incredible, the steaks are cooked to your specification and there's also a handy guide in the menu to show the different options you can choose. The prices are, for what you get, really reasonable too. It was around £55 for two people to have fillet mignon mains, a starter each and a couple of drinks each.
It was soo good we came back the second night!

We just dropped by for a drink and something to eat. Tired, cause we walked all day. But this was amazing: the meat my husband ordered was juicy and tender, my burger was one of the best I have ever had.
For a beer... just tell what you like: dark, blond, whatever and they will get you the right one. Let the staff surprise you :)
And, als important, a very friendly staff!

The staff's really friendly and kind, prices are good, the menu contains a lots of tasty beers (also gluten free options).
I asked if they had vegan options (it was lunch time, and honestly I didn't want to eat french fries as always...), and the chef made me a very tasty durum pasta with a lots of vegetables, AND personally came to ask me if I'm vegan, and made me sure, he'll be making my food without any eggs, dairy product, and meat.

Excellent steak menu and the sides were as much of a highlight as the meat itself. Great selection of both Hungarian wines and craft beers and the staff seemed very knowledgeable regarding pairing of drinks to meal choices.
We spent less than £30 per person on a main and drinks with extra sides as well. A meal of the same quality and service in the UK would be double that at minimum!

Booked ahead as we had done some research on best places to eat in Budapest, this was number one and for good reason.
Great menu, the place itself is really nice with a great vibe. Everything about our evening deserves a 5 star rating, from the craft beers on offer to the quality of the steak, the wine selection to the service. Staff were fun, attentive and made our evening really special.
The restaurant is moderately priced for the experience you receive and we would highly recommend. Thank you all

Besides being a very charming atmosphere, outside in the overarched patio, and delicious food, we were particularly grateful for the unsual warm attentiveness and personal touch of our waiter, Laszlo. When our food was somwhat delayed, Laszlo and the manager were keen not just to apologize but to compensate generously with a whole bottle of pricy wine, and later Laszlo even offered us a special Hungarian dessert wine. All in all, this was indeed a major contrast to what else we experienced at other restaurants in central Budapest. We will no doubt return next year when we go there again.

I visited this place with my bf in December and the food was outstanding. We had starters, mains and several drinks and the final bill was really reasonable (below €50). Most notable , the staff (especially Roland and Greta) were amazing . I highly recommend this place when visiting Budapest if you want a fun and laid back place with outstanding food - you won’t be disappointed x

The whole ambiance of the restaurant is amazing, I believe it was the owner who got us a table even though they were actually full. The staff is very friendly and professional. My partner and I got some appetizers on the house which were delicious and of course very kind, for the main we got the steak platter for two. My partner said it was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten. The spinach was very good as well as the potatoes. Good portion as well. I ordered the cottage cheese dumplings, but also got the cheesecake on the house which was again very lovely of them and we love the effort they give to their customers. The dumplings were magnificent. Can recommend this restaurant to everyone, if we visit Budapest again we are definitely coming to this restaurant again !

We visited on a busy Friday night after reading the reviews I was keen to book a visit for our trip to Budapest .
We was shown to our table upstairs by a very attentive waiter . Service was very prompt , the menu is not extensive but what I really like is there is pictures of the food in the menu , this I wondered why all restaurants don’t do this as I always have a quick glance at what others are eating .
We had the steak tartare in bone marrow . Hubby said it was lovely and I had the beef carpaccio with Camembert. Which I really enjoyed , Subtle flavours that worked well together .
For our main we shared the steak platter for 2 which was fillet , ribeye and flank steak with mushrooms , both sweet potato and normal fries and sauces .
AMAZING ! Our eyes was definitely bigger than our belies and we couldn’t finish what we had as there was plenty of food , the steak melted into your mouth and we couldn’t find fault with our meal or the service .
We didn’t have pudding as was too full and we both don’t drink alcohol but the table next to us was sampling lots of different variety’s of beer . We both had a passion fruit lemonade which was slightly too sweet for me and my husband had an elderflower lemonade which was lovely .
Great atmosphere, great place to visit well worth , the bill came to 31,000 ft which is about £67 great value !

Dinner was excellent, soup was tasty and packed full of meat and veg. Steak platter for two was more than enough and steak was cooked with perfection. Susy was a great waitress very polite, chatty and on the ball with the wine pouring 🤣. Overall great experience would recommend

Fantastic, booked last minute on a Saturday afternoon for later that evening after reading previous reviews on Trip Advisor and they managed to squeeze 3 of us in!
Even with the Giro d'Italia in town we managed to get a table last minute.
Fantastic, great atmosphere, brilliant staff and the food was absolutely top class.
Top marks all round and special mention for the staff who were all really helpful and special shout out to Greeta who was simply brilliant.
A must visit restaurant If you get chance.
If it was in London you’d easily pay 3 times the price so it’s top end dining at a fraction of the price….

My friend got a steak that he could cut by slowly pushing the flat side of his knife through it. The price was a bit higher than other restaurants but the food alone is worth it. Budapests food is already so cheap that the price is no big deal.
The service at this restaurant is unreal. It felt like we had a personal waiter throughout the entire meal. He answered questions, made recomendations and made sure everything was perfect. Its a shame that I can only give 5 stars when the service deserves 6.

This is absolute must in Budapest. Staff cannot be more attentive and really knowledgeable about all drinks especially wines and beers. We had Laci who looked after us and we couldn’t be happier. The food is super tasty and atmosphere was really good - outside setting is lush. Despise the fact that it’s a steakhouse there is enough vegetarian or pescatarian options.

I've been to this restaurant with my family (wife and 16-year-old son) twice during our stay in Budapest and we've just been delighted by the food, the atmosphere and the kind, professional, attentive service. Greta took good care of us both times and she really deserves a special mention, but the whole staff was really nice.
The location is modern but warm, the tables are well spaced (which means that there's a limited number of seats, but also that you can talk with your friends without raising your voice) and the internal court, if you're lucky enough to book a table there, is something you won't forget easily.
Every course we had was excellent: the rumpsteak, which I like rare while my son prefers medium, was tender and cooked exactly as requested; the Wiener Schitzel was fried perfectly and came with an excellent potato salad; a salad with Bulgur and grilled chicken was an excellent choice for my wife the night we wanted a light meal. Don't miss the dessert (ask Greta for advice, you won't be disappointed) and, of course, the beers - from a standard lager to an excellent IPA. Just one recommendation: book your table in advance! You can do it on Beerstro's Web site, it will only take you a few seconds, and the small effort is definitely worth it.
