We waited 30 mins for the food to be ready and another 30 mins to get the bill that never came. We got confused and walked to the cashier tried to pay but there was noone there. After asking 5-6 guys finally got the bill and we were surprised that they charged extra for the fries, which was implied to... More

The beer was disgusting and they served us in 25 cl glasses instead of the 33cl ones. They tried to charge us more than we were supposed to pay. Most definitely avoid this awful place.

We thought it would be a cheap visit as they offered a tourist menu. Turns out their italian and hungarian dishes were bad. Some were served cold while others were tasteless.. service was annoying, asked for the bill 4 times and it took 25 minutes to get it. They promised 50% off beer and convinently forgot about it - which... More

Don't even think of coming into this tourist trap. Overpriced, bad food. The bill has items not ordered. Better eat Burger King around the corner.

No guests, and 1 hour to make 5 burned pizzas. Food arrived separately - tourist trap!! Never consider this restaurant.

Very overpriced for the quality and amount of food you get. They try to lure you in with the discounts, but the discounts still make the food only slightly more expensive than other places. Service was quite slow. Caesar salad was disgusting- old veggies with miracle whip dressing. Several orders came out incorrect. Staff English was ok and they were... More

Don't order large beer! Tourist food menu meant to entice you in - it is a decent price but the food was only semi-hot and bland. Bill had over doubled in price with beer added on - there was no 50% off at all. Some other tax/service charge (?) added on end of the bill - gave more in cash... More

A nice location for a couple of beers. Attentive service and friendly staff. Would visit here again. If we were being picky the happy hour sign did say 500f for half a litre of beer. We had 1.5 litres and the bill was 1900f, but for pennies we didn't query this and in fact left a tip.

Pretty bad food, fatty veal and the food is unauthentic and not traditional Hungarian. It's not worth the money and the place could do with a refresh.

When i asked for a beer the guy who can speak plenty of languages and is very smooth told me what was available. I asked to see the menu as I was feeling that this could be an expensive... More

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
