We went there twice. The first one we ordered steak which was good but not outstanding .The second time we ordered beef stroganoff I liked it ,not what I expected but it was alright. I didn't go back as I don't go to places which do not accept cards not because I don't have the cash but because in foreign... More

This was the first restaurant/cafe I visited the day I arrived in Budapest as it was not far away from the hotel I was staying in and was definitely a true taste of Hungary. I sat outside on the high street and chose a cold main dish complete with paprika and salami. Overall, the food and service was good but... More

After an off night at the restaurant next door, we decided to try this restaurant which is very close to where the Hungarian Kings of Dixieland play Wednesday nights. I don't remember exactly what my partner ordered but she wasn't particularly impressed. I wanted to try their goulash soup and it was good, dark broth as it should be and... More

Since we were disappointed with our favorite restaurant, we searched for another one. Angelo came first. My partner wanted to have a goulash soup, and Angelo offered it. Because I wasn't hungry, I decided to have only some sweet. For sweets, I'm always ready. So our order was a Goulash soup and a Sponge Cake a la Somlói style. Both... More

We arrived to a very full reasteraunt and the waiter decided to pull a table away from another table of people, this was nice but it made it very snug. We were sat extremely close to the other table and in the middle of where everyone was walking which made is slightly uncomfortable. Our food came in a reasonable time,... More

We were trying to find a nice place to have breakfast. We found this small restaurant when a heavy and sticky waiter almsot jumped on us. Unless this bad start, we decided to eat an "omelette with fresh vegeatables and homemade bread" each and to share a lemonade. The result ? Small portions which looked like the ones for children... First night of a long weekend, five of us stopped off here for a relaxing drink before meeting up with others. However on looking at the menu decided to try the food. All good, very friendly and helpful staff and not expensive. Sat outside on a warm night and enjoyed the experience.

We went to this café for an evening meal after a long day of sightseeing. First of all there was a problem because the only table available was booked an hour later. We said that was fine as we wouldn't be that long. We ordered our food. We said we did not want any water. A few minutes later the... More

Very near of our hotel. Two waitress for this place is too few! Few more waitress please. Really quite slow service. Hungarian beef was normal mid-range beef. Nothing special. French fries wasn't good too soft. Suprise was they also billed sauce with beef. Dessert was quite good, but not so good. All food was mid-range-tourist food. So I don't recommended... More
