Not all restaurants are open in Budapest on a Sunday. This one was and we were glad we visited. Steak was nice and the goose livers were excellent. Good wine too. Recommended

We ate at this hotel twice during a city break in Budapest. Our hotel recommended the restaurant as it was open on a Sunday evening. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was really nice with a good selection of local dishes which were well presented and extremely tasty. So good we returned for lunch the next day - had freshly... More

Lovely garden, good food (although my husband's sauce tasted horrible), great service. The onion rings are amazing! Good APA though quite pricey.

Recommend this little gem. Originally popped in just to drink and husband had a few beers and I had the great lemonades (pregnant). So friendly that we decided to stay for food. Crispy goose and fab mash and also the pork medallions were both really good. Wish I could cook pork this well at home! Had tocut up the veg... More

Had two courses each. Nice bottle of red recommended by our waiter. Food was ok but plenty of it so good if you like large portions. We found the restaurant a little bit over heated for us to relax fully but we found the bill very reasonable although we probably wouldn't return as would like to try the many others... More

A bit hit and miss - certain parts of each dish were good and others only average. Two of the party of three had the steak strips which were definitely the best course. Overall an OK experience but probably wouldn't return with so many other great choices on offer. Certainly not value for money in Budapest.

We came here on the basis of reviews and were not disappointed. Goulash soup as a starter was superb, and filling. Both my goose leg and my wife's chicken supreme were attractively presented and delicious. There was a wide range of wines available to accompany the meal. Great value too.

This looked good through the window as we wondered where to eat. It went right from the word go. Jolly staff showed us to a table and their warmth made the difference. We were a group of four & not one of us were disappointed with our meals. From the excellent starters/main course to desert & coffee. Well priced. Of... More

We ordered vegetarian pasta and risotto with mushrooms. Pasta included some extra ingredients such as meat and was very bland. Risotto was undercooked.
