Its nice place in center of city, you have near a lot of places to visit, and stop here to have your drink, to talk and rest, Drinks are cheap , but food little bit expensive, Staff very friendly and helpful.

Stopped here for Dinner. Didn't have reservation but was not a problem on the night. Large premises so plenty of room around tables which is great. Staff were chatty and efficient and happy to make recommendations regarding the menu. Food was excellent with good portion sizes. Good wine list and all reasonably priced. Nicely located on square close to river.... More

This is a nice relaxed restaurant with a wide range of Hungarian cuisine on offer.Portions are very generous and 3 courses was too much of a challenge for us! Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere.

This was my favourite restaurant in this city that we visited. The food was out of this world (I had the pork loin with potatoes - I think it was called that on the menu) It was the very best meal I have had in such a long time!! Inside was beautiful, and the service was amazing. It was divided... More

Central located in the Pest area, the bland, "international" decor of the place could have meant we were anywhere in Europe. The service was OK, but a little cold and the whole thing lacked sparkle and charm. Our vegetarian just about got by, and others enjoyed their food - rather than raved. With so many other choices around in this... More

The Boom and Brass was a lovely experience. The food was excellent, and the service very good. All staff were welcoming and thoughtful. On the night we were there, there was a duo performing which made for good entertainment too

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
