I'll start by saying I'm a foodie, a lover of offal and rose wine. M. Restaurant is devine. This place is beautifully decorated with a menu to die for. We had octopus and tuna ceviche, duck terrine and lambs brain, all delicious. To top it...More

Sincerely friendly greeting by staff (pretty sure the owners), with a winsome smile. My 22-yr old son and I were among the first to arrive, and were guided to a table for 2 in the upstairs dining room, then empty but for us. It soon...More

We were recommended this quirky restaurant by our son who visited it a year ago and we were very pleased he did. The food was well cooked and presented with a mixture of Hungarian and European food. Ample portions were provided and you were not...More

Very-very delicious meals, everything perfectly made! We were looking for a nice restaurant in Budapest and this place has far exceeded our expectations. This is now our second favorite place in Budapest going forward... and we have tried quite a lot ;)...

We didn't think we'd get a table as we looked inside and it looked busy. But we tried anyway and were greated with a smile and good service. The food was wonderful, just really delicious. We had a really special evening here. Oh and the...More

One catch though - they don't take credit cards which in 2017 is a bit odd - but it really was the best food we had in 5 nights in Budapest and there is an ATM right down the street. Food was quite good and...More

Amazing food, I mean some of the best I've ever had. The duck was to die for as were the sweatbreads and calf feet. Just the house red wine was also stunning and the chocolate fondant will send me to heaven a happy man. I'm...More

This place to me has the ultimate combination. The service is great (and that cannot be said of plenty of places in Budapest unfortunately) and only can come from a genuinely happy team. The food is wonderful and the menu slightly changes every day (If...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

It is a tiny place so 15 might be almost all their capacity upstairs (there is a sqaure room and a tiny long room for a long table), you might have to pay in advance to privatize or arrive early.
