Place was hopping this Monday night and everything was really a surprise. Sure we walked past it a few times, but once you go in you realize you are at home. The exposed brick and cozy feel combined with great service and food you can't...More

It was a bit too long before the waiter came to ask us for what we wanted. I had the lunch menu so the food was delivered quickly. It was very delicious. Great for local food. Also just 1500huf for the soup+main+desert.

The food was excellent, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere the best! The food was local and delicious. This is the quintessential Hungarian restaurant with the service to match and the staff were friendly and helpful. Do not forget to book.

We went for dinner. The menu is not accurate so make sure to ask about the ingredients in case of any allergies. I ordered streamed vegetables and ended up with a plate full of mushrooms, which I can't eat. According to the menu, the fish...More

The food was great, especially mushroom paprikash. We paid 5200 for dinner for two and drinks and we were completely full. I really recommend this place!

Nice Hungarian food and the lowest prices. Beautiful decoration and very calm place. The staff could be nicer though. But very much worth it, would definitely recommend

Just up the road from our hotel, in a residential area of Budapest, is this gem of a restaurant. As previous posters have mentioned, the staff aren't fluent in English, but have just enough and the food does the talking, we had two different soups,...More

This is a great place to eat hungarian food for a low price. Lunch menu is great: it is cheap, in a big portion and delicious. Cheese cream soup has been my favourite every time.

Hi Oleg, how are you? We had a party of four and made no reservation. Walked in around 7:30pm on a weekend, and we were sorted immediately :) The beef with Hungarian dumplings are delicious btw :)
