The food was okay but the quality of the service was absolutely rubbish. The waiter was very unpleasant and was clearly laughing at us when hesitating between dishes. Also, the waiter was not speaking English very well (or at least he was not trying to...More

We had an evening meal with beer, wine and Palinka. Staff were excellent and let us eat slowly and take our time, despite it being a busy Saturday evening. Nice live music

This was our first and only visit to this eatery and it turned out disappointingly. The surrounds are pleasant and the food looks good. Unfortunately, my wife fell I'll after eating the goulash soup. It all came back out of my wife's mouth within a...More

Dear Sir, We are sorry about what happened to your wife. We've checked the quality of Goulah soup and did not found any problems. We sold a lot of portions of Goulash that day and there were no any complains about the quality of the...More

A poor experience, very average service, very average food and not particularly good value for money. This is not a restaurant that I have any desire to visit again, which is disappointing as it was recommended in a number of guide books

These waiters were so rude and unwelcoming. Many times we would get their attention and they would look at us and walk away. I never got my second order and when we paid they threw our change back at us. The food is okay and...More

The service was absolutely horrible. The food was fine and if the service wasn’t terrible I’d return. They ignore us, gave us stale bread that was already eaten from. Was rude and condescending during check out process. Don’t waste your money here. The goulash also...More

The food and service was ok. But the bathroom is one of the best. All guests could go at the same time.

"Red Mail Coach" - "Voros Postakocsi" is traditional Budapest restaurant. It cannot be said, that the Voros Postakocsi Restaurant in Raday Street really stands out from the others, but anyone looking for a Hungarian culinary experience shouldn't pass it by. Originally opened in the early seventies, this traditional fully licensed restaurant, specializing in authentic Hungarian dishes, has been a firm favourite for over three decades, serving authentic, well-cooked and reasonably priced food to its predominantly local Clientele. The restaurant offers a wide range of carefully selected meals from authentic and modern Hungarian cuisine. Traditionally heavy dishes are rendered light, courtesy of organic meat, dairy products and vegetables. The menu offers several vegetarian options. We formed the Red Mail Coach Restaurant's Menu around the Foie Gras and other Hungarian specialities. The restaurant's wide selection of modern Hungarian wines is a treat for all. The Red Mail Coach Restaurant offers more than 70 kinds of bottled wine, half of which is also available by glass at very attractive prices.
