Always very fresh and tasty. Parking is horrible but it worth a bit walking. This restaurant is clean and huge. Recommended.

Meal is fresh and delicious. I love the place because it is clean and tiny. Plenty room among the tables.

I remember the place since its very first days and even knew the owner. I hope he is not the same because he seemed to be a decent man and wouldn't be happy to present this crap they serve now as Turkish cuisine. I was literately sick of Iskender kebab last Saturday. I suggest to all to avoid this place.... More

I absolutely loved this restaurant. Self-service with many options. Cheap for very good quality. Definitely recommended!

The Szeráj Turkish restaurant (fast food and self-service) was the first Turkish kitchen in the city. The amount of the meal is almost so large it can't be eaten, but I always do my best. Try beef kebab, fried lamb and/or siskebab! If You prefer vegetarian food, try mixed vegetables, humus or any of the salads. Do not forget to... More

This was my first time at a Turkish restaurant with cafeteria style service. I was reluctant at first but that fear quickly faded. The portions were generous and food of good quality. Plenty to choose from. Overall great value for the money.

I went for dinner today and ordered lamb kabob. The dish looked great but when started eating it, i thought it was a bit too chewy. Since i was very hungry, i didnt pay much attention, but ended up discovering that the meat was pink and one piece had blood when i squeezed it. I like thus place, and I... More

Could not believe the queue outside this place when we arrived but it moved quickly. The short wait was well worth it. The kebab meat (donor) and the salad was good and the plate huge but what really stood out was the huge selection of salads that you could chose to add for around £1 each. A must visit.

Great food choices at a reasonable price. Great location as well. We ate all our meals here when we were in Budapest.

Our favourite gyros -fast food restaurant. It is quick and cheap, wide choice of eastern food.Gyros plate is my fav, also the dessert are superb. The salads are delicious and big portion, try the chicken with eggplant or the eggplant cream! Prices are relatively low:1500Ft for a gyros plate,500Ft for a salad and 300-400Ft for desserts.

Thank Marta S

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
