Nice restaurant close to Portorož. It is not easy to find as one needs car to get there and the roads are local making a big circle around so that in the end it is not so far away from the town of Portorož but it takes time to get there. There were three of us and we had excellent... More

If you are sitting in the garden and watching a sunset set is a romantic place to be. Service is very good and preparation of the food is on a high level. The fish soup has been delicious unfortunately the choice of vine is not matching the standards of food.

Ribic is well known place for seafood for many many years. The ambient is nice, though I do not like restaurants that offer childrens playground as a part of their service. All in all the surrounding does not match prices. And here lies a catch. I do not bother to pay 35eur or even 50eur per person per meal, but... More

I've been visiting the slovenian coast for many years now and I am very familiar with the local quisine. To judge the quality of the restaurant you have to have this background and some love for authentic food: So I went for clams: Dondoli a la Busera as starter and grilled Brancin as main. You have never touched the heart... More

We made a reservation for the group on recommendation. The best food and the best service. Everything was excellent from the beginning to the end.

Under the olive trees.nearby salines. No problem with service like some other reviews mentioned. Excellent food. One of the finest we had in Slovenia.

Based on my complede dissapointment of Portoroz hospitality (and that as a local) I followed advice of friends and went to this place for dinner. It is not far from Portoroz, but a bit hidden and road looks like you are lost :) I can only say that service was great (though it seems not always based on some earlier... More

This restaurant is very hidden from the eyes of a normal culinary traveler. In fact if you don't do an extensive research you won't even know it exists, but when you find it you will find one of the best if if the best fish restaurant on the Slovenian coast. It is situated around 20-30 m from the see, surrounded... More

The food is great, the service is slow. The pasta and rizotto is plenty, the meat is small. Tartufo is just great with shrimps!

We had a family dinner at the Ribic restaurant. The food is one of the best in the area. Chef does a really great job and goes to a great extent to make it also visually appealing and adds a fresh touch to classic dishes. Fish carpaccio is great, tuna steak with goat cheese is a winning combination - not... More
