A wonderful restaurant down a quiet backstreet. Pri Skofu was our favourite restaurant on our trip to Ljubljana. We started with the gnocchi with ramsons and the buckwheat with porcini mushrooms. Both were excellent. The flavours were beautifully balanced and everything tasted very fresh. We then had the beef with truffle sauce and the pork with prunes and dumplings. Again... More

Having eaten at Pri Skofu more than once, i can definitely say that this is one of the best restaurants in Ljubljana. It's tucked away in a small, quiet alley a bit far from the old town, but it's definitely worth searching for. The food is excellent, a mixture of traditional cuisine with a modern touch, the prices are reasonable... More

We tried to book a few places for tonight in the old town but everywhere was booked so we tried a little further out and found this place which was only a couple of streets from our hotel. It was very quiet, only 3 other tables the whole time we were there but it was only a small place. Others... More

This place is a hidden gem and was recommended by our air bnb host who is a local. The food was delicious, good value, and the service was excellent - we were even given a free appetizer when our meal was slow coming (only because of how crowded it was, obviously a popular spot)

This restaurant is a million miles away from the tourist hordes lining the Ljublicana. The restaurant is quite small with maybe 10 or so tables, mainly outside on a quiet residential street. It's a quiet and pleasant location with a nice ambience. The staff are relaxed but welcoming and the menu intriguing. We ordered gnocchi with wild garlic for a... More

Rick Steves called this a "hidden gem" and our tour guide had recommended we walk the extra five minutes to see this little residential area, so we made reservations at Pro Skofu. I feel so lucky. The salad was good. The wine by the glass was the best I've had in the week I have been here. The entrees were... More

Found this hidden place away from the restaurants in the main strips of town. It was worth the 0.5 mile walk to taste local cooking. Had two main courses, two appetizers, two beers for 49 Euros and it was worth every penny. It is a very small place with seven tables and a small kitchen. They make one dish at... More

We ate here on our final night in Ljubljana and could not have picked a better restaurant! The restaurant is located only a few minutes walk away from the centre of Ljubljana but feels like you could be sat in a peaceful village street/square. We were given complementary appetiser of local cottage cheese and bread which was very tasty. I... More

Wanting to have an evening in Ljubljana during our cheeky weekend away in Slovenia, we found Pri Skofu as a suitable eatery because they can cater for gluten free diets. The restaurant is tucked away down a pedestrianised residential side road, away from the hussle of the city centre. We found the restaurant on Tripadvisor and because it was rated... More

The food was excellent, every single meal was great. The desserts were amazing too, and overall the price-quality ratio is really good. The waiter is very friendly, and the place is calm and charming. We spent a great evening ! :)
