In Warsaw for a short break. Very tired on our first day so wanted something close to were we were staying. Visited on a Saturday evening and very busy but managed to squeeze us in. We can't speak any Polish but waitress had good English and helped us out enormously. Food was superb, service was excellent and good atmosphere. Also... More

Fantastic food, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. We received private room for our birthday dinner. Live music with good collection of songs make this place amazing. If U like to spend a good evening in Warsaw and U need some break from polish food this place is strongly recommended.

We popped in here for lunch on a cold November day - it was warm and welcoming. Seemed it would be a great evening dinner venue too, as it's just got that feel about a long evening around it! I understand it does good live music and concerts too. Good for meat-eaters and semi-vegetarians such as myself, although the choice... More

Great service and food was great. Had the stuffed vine leafs and then steak. That and 2 beers was less than £25. Would recommend it

We arrived close to 7 and we easily found a table without reservation although it was Halloween night. The staff had halloween painted faces and was very polite and fluent in english. We opted for "rostbef u metaksi" roast beef steak flambéed with Metaksa, served on hot lava stone with baked potatoes and dips: mint, ajvar and was delicious. This... More

We went as a party of 10. It's easy to find and has plenty of tables and sometimes live music. However, I would definitely recommend booking as it was always busy. Menu is really well priced with lots of choices. We had a variety of dishes from seafood to meats. The staff were great explaining all the dishes, polite and... More

Balkan style food I can really recommend. I had a spicy bacon-wrapped köfte-like dish that I don't recall the name of but it was very tasty!

To get a table on Saturday afternoon you need to book a table. Friendly staff, ready to explain and recommend the dishes. All the dishes we had were fresh and tasty. We loved czevapi and the steak. Serbian tea with cardamon was delicious, too.

Description
"Best Balkan cuisine in an unnamed neighborhood!"

Banja Luka is a wonderful town of sunny Bosnia. For centuries inhabited by Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks, Jews and Muslims was an example of good neighborly relations and positive mutual influence of many cultures. It's a fabulous city, destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1969 and the subsequent war. It is for us a symbol of the Balkans, a lively mix of cultures and traditions, we want you to pass it in a casual atmosphere with a pinch of salt. We offer you delicious, a little crazy, real Balkan cuisine.
Banjaluka started in 2002 and spent 10 years in Mokotow district. After moving to the heart of the city some nightlife was added to the family-friendly attitude. The restaurant is famous for its diverse balkan cuisine, highest ingredient and dish quality and casual atmosphere. Fresh balkan menu was developed by Tadeusz Muller - Banjaluka is now a real Balkan food venue with flair for seafood and large portions of meat with the legendary 20cm Gurmanska Pljeskavica as a flag dish. The place stays open late (11PM weekdays and 12PM on weekends). During lunch and the weekend brunches Banjaluka serves fine as a centrally located balkan diner and quality time with your family an friends.
