We had such good food here. Even though they didn't speak a lot of english it was more than enought for us to understand. Since our group consisted of 3/4 vegetarians, meat free meals were a priority, and Banjaluka had a wide variety of things...More

This place has character, good food and neat atmosphere, but unfortunately the service was not great because of waiting and not been taken care by the waiters. My friend got quite upset for this, it was really hard to get their attention. Other than that,...More

Design and atmosphere is really nice, but... for us food was too heavy for summer and menu was really hard to read. Waiter at the begging was very nice but later it was like he offered us rakija, we weren't sure about that so he...More

This place is situated just behind one of the busiest streets in Warsaw so it is very central and convenient to find. The outdoor area is perfect for summer. Cocktails are highly recommended and even though we did not eat the food seemed very good...More

Situated in a leafy square just off one of the central streets of Warsaw & round the corner from our fantastic hostel, Oki Doki, this is a great place either to have a drink or for a tasty meal. The staff are very welcoming &...More

I very rarely give a restaurant 5 stars but Banjaluka deserves it. The restaurant is very busy - it was a hot day and all the tables outside - and there are a lot - were taken so I recommend reserving. We started off with...More

I wanted to try a local restaurant that offered good value and great food & this was a perfect choice! The restaurant is below street level, has a great atmosphere and was very busy even on a Wednesday evening. We tried the flambeed Metaxa steak...More

When Banjaluka moved from Pulaska to their current location I was disappointed because the atmosphere of the place changed. The only saving grace was that the food remained the same. When I returned this past Summer I was excited to visit some of my favorite...More

Description
"Best Balkan cuisine in an unnamed neighborhood!"

Banja Luka is a wonderful town of sunny Bosnia. For centuries inhabited by Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks, Jews and Muslims was an example of good neighborly relations and positive mutual influence of many cultures. It's a fabulous city, destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1969 and the subsequent war. It is for us a symbol of the Balkans, a lively mix of cultures and traditions, we want you to pass it in a casual atmosphere with a pinch of salt. We offer you delicious, a little crazy, real Balkan cuisine.
Banjaluka started in 2002 and spent 10 years in Mokotow district. After moving to the heart of the city some nightlife was added to the family-friendly attitude. The restaurant is famous for its diverse balkan cuisine, highest ingredient and dish quality and casual atmosphere. Fresh balkan menu was developed by Tadeusz Muller - Banjaluka is now a real Balkan food venue with flair for seafood and large portions of meat with the legendary 20cm Gurmanska Pljeskavica as a flag dish. The place stays open late (11PM weekdays and 12PM on weekends). During lunch and the weekend brunches Banjaluka serves fine as a centrally located balkan diner and quality time with your family an friends.
