Second time here and it's been great both times. This time had the beef tartare which was excellent. Sticking to the Polish specialities had excellent leg of goose which was crispy with the right amount of moistness beneath the skin. Too stuffed for dessert but I remember from last time that they were good. This is a good place with... More

Fine cooking with some traditonal polish dishes. Friendly and calm atmosphere without beeing boring. Maybe a little bit too expensive.

A regular favorite since we went there first in, we think, August 2007. Tonight on the first floor we had at a companion table a group of young people speaking English but none of whom was British. Such is influence of UK in mainland Europe. Main courses are large so don't trouble with starters. My goose with lentils was soft... More

We had quite a nice , simple meal - barley soup, goose leg (very tender and tasty) schnitzel ,local beer and a glass of wine. Our dinner cost about 20 € p.p , it is not cheep by Polish standard . There is a good choice of cakes . Beware - there is 10% tip (called service) added to the... More

The food is really good, we took the pasta and the Halibut and were not disappointed. They offer a large choice of tasty deserts.

We had steak one one side and beef cheak on the other. Steak was cooked and not grilled and well done instead of medium like i requested. Service is shoddy and knowledge of English is limited. The desserts, displayed in the coffee shop room are very fresh and tasted great.

We really enjoyed our supper here. The menu choices are great - I had pierogi and couldn't resist one of their amazing desserts! I think the staff were great and recommended a wine to compliment our food (it was not the most expensive one so I really think our waiter cared.) A great location (we were staying at the Polonia... Ate here recently on an "included meal" as part of our Grand Circle tour of Central Europe and enjoyed it. The food was tasty and well-prepared, with emphasis, of course, on local dishes. We had beer (or wine if you preferred) and it complemented the meal exactly. The service was friendly, attentive, not overbearing, and their English was certainly much... More

Clear, quite, decent with cosy atmosphere, helpful staff, delicious dishes with traditional tastes, special cakes/pastries, reasonable prices & respective to the quality it offers. We ordered the traditional "duck's leg with potatoes" which I highly recommended, a salad with strawberries and as dessert something with chocolate, caramel and biscuits; just perfect if you adore chocolate in combination with crispy biscuits,...
