The beer was good and fresh. The service really bad. I did not get the free bread which nearly everyone got with their beer, despite asking for it. Sounding peevish! Maybe! But I ordered dinner - waited half an hour. No bread, no dinner. Ordered another beer- nothing! But all said and done, the beer is good.

Went in twice and could not order food, lovely place but staff not that bothered.Such a shame as its a great setting but maybe they are complacent? Have never knocked a place before but this was so poor.

Been here twice in a year...loved it each time...best duck from here to Poznan! Super crowded even on a cold wet day...had to.wait for tables...no help...service is minimal, and almost non existent..dirty tables....but for some reason after eating - those deterrents that would typically make me walk away just seemed to not matter...food and beer is that good..

The beer in Spiz is nice and cold, which is a nice relieve on a hot summers day. Also with every pint you get a small snack included in the price. Though the place is always packed, there is usually no problem with getting a spot.

This place was recommended by a Polish friend as well as by the hotel staff! It has a very medieval feel to it, where you can sit and drink amongst the brewing tanks. We had the sausages and cabbage, with dumplings (authentic Polish food) and a beer that the bar man recommended. All of which was reasonably priced

Atmospheric beer cellar brewery serving good beer in a city which otherwise I found very poor for beer. The mainstream Polish beers are pretty awful so this one being from a micro was so much better. Staff nice too. Worth stopping by

Cold and tired we visited this bar on the main square at 5 pm on a Thursday to find it heaving with people. We had 2 craft beers which were nice. Watched what looked like "Polish" MTV and enjoyed the atmosphere. Very nice.

We made a special effort to visit this restaurant as it looked really nice inside and was packed. We ordered a pork dish and a fish dish. The pork arrived and looked quite nice until my partner cut into his croquet potatoes and found they were cold and frozen in the middle. My fish was wrapped in tinfoil and when unrapping... More

Their beers are very mediocre. The restaurant is divided into two: a German Bierhalle style brewpub which seems to be more of a tourist attraction than anything else and a Soviet style fine dining restaurant. Service was not far from rude. Beef stroganoff was tasty. Still I’m not recommending.

Right place to have a beer with friends during summer. Located in oldtown with own brewery. They serve small bites to the beer.
