I choosed this restaurant, due to the another reference on Trip advisor. Soup was great, but iT was only 1 of 5 ordered food, which was bring to our table during 1hour of waiting. No more, please. And info for the waiters: your guest could...be hungry, thirsty and would Like to spend evening out of kitchen aroma....More

Following an online recommendation from a polish-american, we sampled this restaurant for its authentic polish cuisine and enjoyed honest dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Advertised outside as a 'lunch bar' we noticed plenty of locals quickly popping in for a set lunch menu, though we...lingered a bit longer to savour the meal more slowly. I had Barszcz czerwony - borsch soup with little dumplings for a first course, while my wife had the potato pancake. Our main courses were: Bigos z buleczka (hunter's stew of pork, cabbage and mushrooms) and Strogonoff. Both were full of flavour with a smooth, creamy gravy. With apple juice and beer, the bill came to 82.50 zloty, well under £18. Very good value, well-cooked with good service on the whole. We would definitely return on a future visit.More

Acceptable food, but don’t expect any miracle for ca. 5 Euro. Sympathetic personnel. I ordered sirloins and they were chopped. Can be crowdy as it is located along a tourist path.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat with no fuss and popular with the local residents then look no further. We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant by chance having walked around for quite a while looking for somewhere to eat. It was...very busy even at 5pm so we went with the assumption that if it’s busy now then it must be a good place to eat. We weren’t wrong the food and the service was excellent. Menus are in English as well as Polish and all staff spoke English so we were made to feel very welcome. Food was cooked to order and was piping hot. I had the Pork Stew (goulash) 14 zt with a side potatoes 5 zt and my husband had the ground beef and mushrooms 15 zt with a side of fries 5 zt (prices are approx as I didn’t keep the bill). With our drinks (a compote and a large beer) our bill came to 60 zt. I would highly recommend this place, it is clearly loved by the locals at the rate they were coming and going whilst we were there. There is no need to book but you may have to wait if it’s busy. Just as a final note they only take cash, no cards.More

This place has great vibe, it feels like in someone's home, it's small and cozy. Staff is very friendly and the food is great! If you want great polish food at even better price come here :) and definitely pick to drink kompot :)

Table service at this place was incredibly fast and we didn’t have to wait too long at all between the first and last course. Food was like at home, I highly recommend tomato soup and potato pancakes (ask for sour cream!).

If you wish a good treat pass your way but if you are after cheap local tasty food then you got the spot. Service is fast but not too friendly. Not too many veg options but everything is very tasty and the apple fritters awesome.

After spending the previous evening next door at the wonderful Restauracja Sąsiedzi we decided to return to the area to try this restaurant having been torn between the two. Although there is a big difference in the price of meals on offer our review is...based on the service we received. After being shown to our table we were given the menus to choose from, both the old and younger waiter seemed uninterested and surly. There were no pleasantries exchanged or even a welcome. The food we chose was very tasty but lukewarm, no one asked if our meals were ok or even if we’d like a dessert or any more drinks after we’d finished. So with that we settled up and left. Given the choice of the two we would go next door again in a heartbeat, they know how to look after their customers.More
